    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: This is a cheap alternative to costlier design examples. Silicone shape seems to be well-done, it didn't scratch my iphone Obviously, this can't fit a phone with a housing It came in two parts, that you have to mount togeter (easy done). The two parts are tightly bound together, yet remain amovible.

    Cons: ... well it's silicone. And silicone is soft and flexible. So it does kind of dampen sound a bit. Which is obviously what you would NOT expect from this gizmo.

    Other: Well, what is this useful for ? If you spend most of your time at home or at friends', where you have access to a set of speakers... then this is a gadget. However, if you spend time in places without too much noise, without speakers, and where you would need some slight amplification of some kind to get some atmosphere... then go for it, this gizmo will definitely do the trick
