Pros: Ceramic blades should never get dull, very affordable and durable. Snips threads, ribbons, fringe, and that sort of thing very well
Cons: These aren't what you'd call super sharp. Basically the ceramic blades have a straight, clean edge and they easily cut through thread and paper, etc, but don't expect to do surgery with them or anything. There also isn't any way to lock them together so that you don't have a pointy object in your pocket
Other: A good deal, I mostly wish i could get them with maybe a plastic sheath with a pocket clip. Something more than the paper sleeve anyway.

Pros: I bought these to trim hydroponically grown basil plants, and they are utterly perfect for that job. Since then I've used them to trim back dead spikes on my phal orchid, cut open plastic bag packaging and removed a thrum (stray thread) on one of my sweaters. Cutting is accompanied by a satisfying scissory sound like when you get your hair cut Very handy little tool
Cons: Standard cons with ceramic blades — don't drop these on a hard surface, don't try to cut anything hard, don't throw them around in a drawer or the blades will break. My blades were attached to the frame with 1 rivet instead of two, so the supplier for these may have changed or the pictures are otherwise out of date. One star removed on the build quality because this, 2 rivets are better than one.
Other: Good for small hands, price is good considering blades will stay sharp for practically forever if you treat them right. Blades will never rust. In that you can trust. For DX's price, why be fussed?

Pros: - Sharp
- Stay sharp
- Satisfying cutting sound
- Cheap
Cons: - Ceramic, can't be dropped or cut anything too hard
- Only one rivet on mine too
- Some rust on the handle, not a big deal, but it does reflect build quality.
Other: A simple pair of Thrum scissors. They have not let me down in the months I've owned them. If you need something to cut small items or to have in your sewing box, I wouldn't look any further, these are great!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Will do the job nicely.
Cons: The image is a misleading; mine have a brace that limits these scissors from opening to the max. About 3rd of the blade is never really used because of that. The build quality is not so good; the scissors were shipped in a state that prevented them from cutting anything - the blades were barely touching. I had to use force to bend the scissors before it did anything of use. Also (as pointed out by others), the picture is misleading blades are enforced by just one rivet each, not as depicted. These are also smaller than I had expected, but still usable.
Other: Nice to have.

Pros: Small and useful scissors. They cut really well. Due to its size, they seem specially suitable for using with plants.
Cons: Quite small in your hand, build quality is not great. The scissors are smaller than I thought. Plastic handle does not feel very good (flex sensation is definitely not good), I am not sure at all how long they will last.
Other: Quite good gardening tool for the price. Building construction is far from being perfect but definitely they give similar tools I hav seen a run for the money.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Light, sharp, not blunt. The main advantage - the blade size. Ideal for small work, the final finishing anything. I recommend to all those involved in handmade
Cons: One must be careful with the blades, but it's bearable. Build quality is upset, the picture is incorrect. limiter is open, but the blades are fixed only on one bolt
Other: As an inexpensive tool for everyday work. May just lie in the tools - always useful

Pros: Ideal utensil if there is sewed very much the being of very easy and comfortable managing, very useful and practical at the moment of having to cut many threads when an article is finished off, since the task turns out to be more rapid that if it is realized by a few conventional scissors. Them it is not necessary to have to sharpen so to the being of ceramics they never lose the edge.
Cons: It is necessary to have taken care of not falling them to the soil or slap them, since to the being of ceramics they are delicate and can break or damage the edge. They do not have case or any other type of protection to be able to guard them when they are not used and to avoid this way possible falls or fortuitous cuts.
Other: A protective sleeve to prevent possible accidents, would be ideal, because the ceramic blade cuts much.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I use it mainly for trimming the end of thread before threading a needle. Fuzzy ends on frayed threads make it extremely difficult for the thread to go through the eye of the needle the first time, and this little scissor will put a sharp point on the thread each time. Metal scissors do not stay sharp enough to be useful at this task for any reasonable length of time.
Cons: The cutting edges are ceramic, so brittle and liable to break if dropped.
Other: A nice tool, indispensable once you experience what it can do.

Pros: - good product; - easy to use; - very very sharp blades; - allow to cut paper and other things with precision; - the right size: 1 inch blade, about 3 inches of handling space.
Cons: - came a little "rusty", probably problems with oil drying along the manufacturing process. Need to clean it a bit before using, I'm not sure if it'll get real-rusty in the iron piece (the one that holds the blades in the right position. - the picture shows two points holding the blade in it's position, mine have just one, but the blades aren't loose anyway.
Other: A good product, I recomend it, just need to clean it a bit when you receive it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very hard.
Cons: It should be shown next to a ruler - it was smaller than I expected. The hinge is bendable metal so if you twist it out of shape you have to twist it into shape so the blades push against each other and are on the correct side of each other.
Other: Nifty.
