Pros: Paid over $15 for a similar tool at lowes last year. Great for cel phone, laptop, ipod repairs. Nice to have the Torx bits with it. Constructed in aluminum, and has magnetic end to hold tips in. Great !!!!
Cons: None
Other: Great tool to add to your collection.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: At first the build quality seems off, but it hold really well and even provides a magnet to hold the bit.The price is unbeatable and the amount of useful bits are great.
Cons: None.
Other: Great tool for anyone opening up a lot of small electronics. Very easy to work with.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Does what it says, at a low price - Metal build feels sturdy - Bits seem well made and good quality - Magnet holds bits in place - Bits can be stored in the handle - The 'Y' bit is basically a triwing bit and can open GBA/DS consoles and other Nintendo stuff.
Cons: - Not much grip when your hands start to get sweaty - Lots of movement of the bit, not held in place very well and can turn a good amount before stopping and actually turning the screw. if not for the magnet the bits will just fall out. - Looks used before you even open it
Other: For the price it is worth it as a spare set, or for someone who use these evry rarely. Quality just isn't present for daily use.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: for general use this is great.
Cons: The threads for the top cap are very loose! But if you thread it all the way on it will tighten up and stay put. I am not sure how good the tips are, as I haven't had to try and budge a stuck or locktited screw
Other: If you have need of a number of different drivers for cell repair or electronics and don't want to carry a large kit around, this could work great!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small size makes it useful on various electronics and glasses. I've used it to tighten up a pair of glasses twice.
Cons: The bits fit tightly, so they don't always fit into storage easily.
Other: Excellent!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Inexpensive Very compact Self storage for the bits Magnetic tip Large bit selection Very light carry weight for a pocket EXTREMELY strong bits, I intentionally tried wearing some down by using the wrong bit size on a screw. I couldn't do it. The bit's are extremely well built.
Cons: None for this price.
Other: Perfect if you need a screwdriver set for many phones, palm pilots, gaming handhelds and many other small electronics devices. I'm thinking of buying the other 2 matching sets to have even more bits, and more drivers for my toolboxes.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Lightweight, compact, with a nice variety of tips. Excellent price.
Cons: The magnet that holds the tip in the driver head could be stronger. A light shake and the tip will fall out. Must be used rather delicately for that reason - may be just the one I got.
Other: Good deal. Careful when opening the package. The tips look like they're in a separate little case. They're not. Mine went flying all over the floor when I ripped apart the packaging.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Light weight Durable have all the bits I need. (almost) it is so compact, I miss place it all the time :-)
Cons: hate the logo silkscreen printing, I scratched it off as soon as I opened mine because it was so ugly.
Other: Great to have it around if you are like me, I use it to open my cell phone, HDD, and other electronic gadgets that I own.
One thing that didn't work for me.. couldn’t repair my glasses when the screw was loose, the bits were too large for that.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Metal construction.
- Light Weight.
- 9 Pieces.
- Can carry it in a Pocket.
- Magnetic.
- Price!
Cons: Nothing.
Other: Must have if you like this things!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Really nice and small tool that is really easy to carry it on the pocket or just on your backpack. Exactly the tool that you need when you work a lot with portable devices, mp3 players, cell phones etc... Magnetic tip works really well...
Cons: Just the logo printed on the side of the tool can come out really easy with some scratching...
Other: I suggest this tool to everyone for the amount of money you will not regret it.
