Precision Steel Thrum Scissors - Color Assorted

Pros: Sharp scissor, made almost the same way as they did a 1000 year ago. This stays sharp much longer than a regular scissor!

Cons: No cons!

Other: I use mine to shape my beard and moustache, after shaving. This easily cuts one and one strain of hair with pinpoint accuracy! (If you have grey hairs among the rest.)
I will probably buy one more to use on detailed paper cutouts, etc.

Pros: Light and easy to use. Handier than normal scissors in some situations.

Cons: Came with a plastic wallet that would help prevent nasty accidents, but DealExtreme had stuck tape all over it turning it into a nasty sticky mess. Could be more nicely made, but perfectly serviceable. Tips on mine aren't exactly the same length, which is a bit of a pain.

Other: Considering the price I don't regret buying these!

Pros: These are perfect for any one who is a model maker or similar fiddly processes, should always have one in the tool kit or in the desk drawer, its great for triming bits of material.

Cons: The 2 that i ordered has tape around the plastic holder case/slip, i took off the tape to find that the case had been ripping on one, side, but it doesnt matter i wouldnt have kept it in the case anyways.
The pair i received werent silver steel look, but had a yellow tinge or so, which kinda effects the aesthetics but definetly not the use, there identical as the ones pictured.

Other: Cheap and a great buy, regardless of my the listed flaws, which are totally minor

- Simple design. Nice sturdy feel.
- Easy to use.
- Precise.
- They cut things you can't normally do with your regular scissors.
I bought three: one goes for my stationery, one for trimming my beard, and the other as a replacement. Great deal!

Cons: - They arrive completely lubricated: The first time I had them in my hands, they felt extremely greasy... Anyway, once you wash them, they feel OK.
- As another reviewer said, they came in a little plastic bag that would help prevent accidents... but it had tape stuck all over it, turning it into a nasty sticky mess. It is virtually impossible to use this little bag for storage in the future.

Other: Buy them for precise artistic and hair-trimming purposes. You can't be wrong for this price!

Other: Nice scissors and very cheap

Pros: They cut well and the spring snaps them back to the open position quickly but not too quickly. Very solid and tool-like feel and appearance. Very reasonably priced.

Cons: There is some roughness to the finishing and the plastic pocket came completely broken. Neither really hurts the usefulness of the item and for this price you can't even get close elsewhere.

Other: Very handy little shears/scissors. Reasonably precise. Perhaps even attractive.

Pros: Surprisingly sharp scissors! Much more than expected. Very comfortable to work with for small plants cutting, letters opening and such.

Cons: Looks little clumsy, but not all that glitters is gold.
Arrived little oily, but nothing wiping up couldn't solve.
The original case it came with wasn't comfortable to use, and I could realy use a nicer case for storage of the scissors.

Other: Brilliant product. You just don't get so much of a product for so little money. Cuts great, really easy to use, light and presice cutting tool.

Pros: The item is ready to use for three reasons: * Very cheap * Simple * sharp The scissors are very resilient and they are able to cut without much effort. Ideal for working with models. The best precision scissors I've ever had. A must to work with precision Cut Lead and wires easily It's a lot of quality steel, looks very good

Cons: The package was not very strong. The scissors cut the plastic about the journey If they had a protective rubber would be better A safety device would be interesting

Pros: Its a very smart design! The tough blades are angled against each other in a shallow X shape and held against each other naturally with your grip. It works naturally hether you're a southpaw(me) or right-handed.

Cons: These are not safety scissors. The springs pull them open, and they're quite pointy enough even closed. Keep them in a cup with your pencils. They don't give you the sheer brute force of ordinary scissors.

Other: They are great for things that ordinary scissors just gnaw on they're fantastic sewing scissors, especially with their very pointy tips. Fabric, hair, thread, plastic wrap, and rubber bands are all cut with no effort. Even really sticky tape that'd gum up other scissors is cut with no trouble because of the way the blades scrape past each other. But they don't have the leverage to cut thick cardboard.

Cons: -dangerous for children/clumsy
-mediocre grade of SS
-poor packaging

Other: Came in a simple baggie, liberally lubricated. Understand, the lubrication is completely necessary, since the blade section of the scissors is of a low grade of SS (if it even is SS) and corrodes fairly quickly without protection. Would be handy for a variety of applications that would challenge regular scissors or a knife. Keep them far out of reach of children or even people you know to be clumsy. For the price however, they're great and have held up well for several months, except for some corrosion. One more thing, this cheap filler item held up the rest of an order for quite a while in spite of being listed as "in stock." That's probably a coincidence since you never know with DX. Just thought I'd mention it.
