Premium 8x/8-Point Cross Starburst Lens Filter (58mm)

Pros: Feels very solid and professional - metal ring.
Works as supposed to. Create beautiful 8-star effect from bright light sources or reflections - especially when shooting at dark.

Cons: the box that come with it (plastic case) is almost useless, because filter is jumping inside, lot of free space. Anyway this does not reflect to optic glass, because glass itself is not touching box walls.
Auto focus may become a little harder - but really a little. Tested many times with and without filter and just a few (may be 2%-5% ) it was not able to focus with filter when it was able without it 9at hard conditions, low light).

Other: Great way to create interesting and eye catching photos. If you plan to make good photos you will need some filters and this one must be in your collection.

- Really cool effects.
- Feels solid, kinda heavy. Definatly a good thing.
- Shoot in the dark for the bes effect I would say.

Cons: cons:
- The bos that it came in is not the best thing. Its a little bit big for the filter, so it kinda moves arround in the box. It does not seem to affect the filter. But I would not keep my expensive filter in there.

Other: If you want a extra filter, cool effect and have a 58mm lens. Definatly get one. Its cool and very cheap. Its a good value for you money.

Pros: • Creates interesting effect from point sources of light (strong reflections at daylight or light sources in the dark) • The real thing, not a cheap post-production effect • Easy installation and use

Cons: • The starburst effect itself will not contribute to the quality of your photos

Other: Be careful, be creative. Use it wisely or your photos are going to look pretty cheap. Experiment with different shutter speeds.

Pros: I've been buying a lot of these. When my friends see the effects on the photos, they want them as well! They come with a great casing as well. Great price for this product.

Cons: None really. Sometimes the lines on the filter seemed missaligned, but it does not effect the photos A reflection is visible on the photos if you use this after a UV filter, so rather remove the UV filter before attaching this one.

Other: Great filter to have. I've always got one in my camera bag. Try taking photos of light reflections of metallic objects. Great results.

Pros: * Does not blur the picture * Can be used in combination with other filters, even if it makes the picture quality poorer it is nice to have that option * Fits my camera nicely * Easy to attach to the camera and easy to clean * Makes cool star effects

Cons: I cannot think of any big cons, maybe the storage case could be better shaped.

Other: Fun to have and play with but maybe not a "must-have".
