What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's a decent filter does what it should do. Price
Cons: Build feels cheap. It could be tough putting it on or taking it off. Obviously not multi-coated. With ND, you'll probably be shooting around the sun so glare can kill a picture. Not that it matter but the package sucks. Arrived in good shape though. DX packed my filters in bubble wrap, which is nice.
Other: If you're thinking of getting it, you probably might as well. If you're serious about your picture you should probably spend more and get a filter that is multi-coated.

Pros: Does what it promises!
There is a 3 f-Stops reduction in the exposure.
I couldn't see any significant reduction in sharpness.
Cons: There is some colour shift, but it is hard to tell unless you compare the photos taken with and without the filter. You can always correct it later in post processing.
The thread feels a bit rough, but not enough to be a problem.
Other: For the price, it is a great filter. I wouldn't use it if I were a professional photographer, but I guess it's OK for amateurs.

Pros: - Good to try out photographing with neutral density filter for very few moneys - The packaging goes for a semi reliable protective case
Cons: - The thread seems of low quality. It is hard to fit it to my Canon FD lenses but eventually will hold in place - The filter has a strong tint of purple - The packaging only goes for a semi reliable protective case
Other: If you just want to try an ND filter out, go for it.

Pros: - Nice filter, the quality is worth for this price, it could be a little bit darker in my opinion.
- Brought this filter to take photos from waterfalls and it worked perfectly.
Cons: - The quality could be better but as I said it's worth for this price.
- Glass get dirty easily but you can use a soft piece of cloth to leave it clean all the time and it will not scratch the glass.
Other: - This is definitively an amateur tool cannot be used for professional sessions.
- I'm really satisfied with this filter and recommend it for all photography lovers.

Pros: Low cost, very cheap, if you want to try taking long time exposure pictures, this is an excelent option. Fits perfectly in my Panasonic FZ47 camera, and Canon AE-1 35mm. Did I mention low price? well in my opinion that's the best thing about this item, I'ts cheap and it works just fine! What else do you need?
Cons: Build quality is not the best, the metal ring feels cheap and the general feeling is not the best, but for 6 bucks that's as good as it gets :)
Other: Buy it, it's cheap and works perfectly!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Lets you open your aperture or to slow down your shutter by 3 stops. Cheap
Cons: Didn't like the quality of the thread, it just doesn't feel right when I attach it to my lens, feels like it is going to damage my lens so I have to be very gentle when attaching or removing it.
Other: Not the best, not the worst, it's good for the price but nothing outstanding
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It does what it is intended for. I accidently broke the one bundled with my Nikon D5100 and bought this one. And I can't really see any difference in use! -it is a perfect fit to my camera!
Cons: None, as far I as I can tell from the use so far.
Other: If you need one, dont look further -this one's it!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great product at a great price! Fits my canon 50mm 1.8 great, it does it's job just fine. It comes in great casing. I am very satisfied with this ND8 camera lens filter.
Cons: No cons at all! This is great ND filter, does it's job great.
Other: Great product, works just fine, if you need ND8 filter - this one is perfect! :)
