Premium UV Camera Lens Filter (58mm)

Pros: Great Premium UV Camera Lens Filter (58mm)!
It came in a nice sturdy box. It has no discernible impact on the photo's takes with it places on the lens of the camera.
It is well made and its thread is also perfect.

Cons: No cons that I can think of.
I do not have cons, not on the product and not on the packaging.....

Other: Great price for a great filter. Strange, I always want to buy more at the dealextreme shop. :-)

Pros: -I have another hoya 58mm filter, and this one is just as good for being an insurance policy for my lenses
-I do not notice any quality degrading on picture quality. Some chromatic aberration is expected but they are neglectible.
-looks exactly like the photo
-hard case to carry around with

Cons: green-type filter.

Pros: When it arrived, I noticed that it's of better quality than I expected. Fit perfectly with the lens adapter tube I ordered as well (SKU 19677). There is no degradation on picture quality (from what I've seen so far). For something this cheap, I think it's perfect!

Cons: The case is not the best thing to carry it around in. It would be better if it came in a more portable form. Although in its defense, the case seems sturdy and looks like it would protect the filter well.

Other: It's less than $5. Go on and buy it. It's definitely worth the wait.

Pros: * Excelent image quality with no visible warping or abberations on lens.
* Size of filter and thread marks is correct, making this an easy fit on my Canon EOS 400D (Rebel XT)
* You can not find a better deal for a lens protector anywhere, I have ine for each of my lenses and a couple in reserve

Cons: None what so ever. This item just works.

Other: One of my top three things bought at DX, maybe the best for its price. These cost $50 at my local store here in Norway!!!

Pros: It's super cheap! It prevents your expensive lens from being scratched! It's suppose to cut UV rays but my lens already has UV ray coating so I don't notice any difference. Some of the cheaper off brands do not have UV coating so if yours doesn't this is perfect at an awesome price. Very good quality, too.

Cons: It's a bit thicker than more expensive brands like Hoya and a bit heavier. It screws on a bit rough but once you get it on, you don't really need to take it off.

Other: I bought this to keep my lens protected, for the most part. I've made the mistake of not having a filter before and scratched up my lens, which costs heck of a lot more than filters.

Pros: Filter is a lightweight, thin and resistant, the image is a very good quality, perfect to protect the lens of a coup or a scratch, and this for a perfect price for any budget.

Cons: I think there is nothing against it, all I could say is that the plastic housing in the next, easily opened, but I think it is no problem because such a filter is placed and not removed again.

Other: A cheap filter, and very good quality, perfect for protecting the lens, buy one for each camera that I have, and some extra to have in case of need, and so never to worry about the dust that would have the lens or some trace , so it is easier and cheaper to replace the filter to a lens. ;)

Cons: May not be cutting the UV rays like professional ones do but i doesn't really make that much of a difference.

Other: Very cheap alternative to protect lenses.

Pros: I bought it mainly in order to protect the lens and not to use specifically as an UV filter per say and it works perfectly to that purporse (it's much cheaper if I crack it than the actual lens) Additionally, it doesn't affect the acquired imaged at all, so the purpose I mentioned is achieved.

Cons: None I could think of. It's as simple as attach it to the lens and forget it alltogether.

Other: completelly worthwile

Pros: Its a great protective and UV filter, to avoid get blue images because of the excess of UV. Also, protects your front element from dust and fingers ( the most important ). Good cost, at BH it cost MUCH MORE! Also, comes in a protective storage box.

Cons: I think the should start apply a hydrophobic coating or anti-dust, its hard to keep any filter clean!

Other: BUY, cheap, useful, good quality. I use than in my Canon 50mm f/1.4 and I'm very happy with the results.

Pros: Un excelente filtro para un reducido costo, el anillo esta hecho de metal y el filtro en si es de vidrio real. No produce viñeteo ni reflejos molestos, hasta el momento funciona muy bien.

Cons: Ninguno hasta ahora.

Other: Compra recomendadisima si quieres proteger tus lentes, demora un poco en llegar pero vale la pena.
