Pro Pocket Digital Scale 0.1g Resolution 2KG Max

Pros: This digital scale is remarkably sturdy, as it seems to have survived intact being delivered in a fairly strong cardboard box within a bubble wrap envelope that failed to prevent that box being seriously crushed in transit. This scale is well designed: tidy appearance; compact, with retractable control panel, allows small footprint, easy portability and storage; very useful 2000 g range (which can be effectively extended as described below); sensitive 1/10 g resolution; has the most useful weight units; has all needed calibration and tare modes requiring few key strokes; the scale platform cover easily holds the user manual besides serving as a ready tray to hold weighed items that might tend to roll off the scale's weighing platform.

Cons: No really serious cons, though there is no calibration weight (and the scale platform cover in this use is only 26.4 g, which is too small to represent a substantial portion of the total 2000 g range)--so any calibration remedy is left to the user. Further, no experience with long term operation is available to this reviewer.

Other: This digital scale is a superbly useful digital weighing machine, providing an excellent complement of features at a most reasonable cost.

Cons: Mine comes a bit dented in the stainless surface. Means that the quality control need to be improved. Price should be lower as well. The included battery is super crap. Do yourself a favour and don't use the battery. Use better quality battery to prevent any leak or corrosion that might result due to bad quality battery. Calibration weight are not included, it should be included in this package as that will not affect the price significantly.

Other: Nice reliable scale for the price. Compared to anything available in the market locally, nothing beat this price.

Pros: Great scale for the price. Wide weight range with great .1g accuracy. Very portable, fits in your hand.

Very hard to see display with large package, display should be angled so you can look under package. With a maximum weight of 2KG, it is quite easy to have items larger than the scale that are still within its weight range.

Other: This is a great scale for the price. Nothing else has the range and accuracy for mailing small packages

- small size (when you want to weigh large things, ie. beakers etc.)
- accurate 2kg calibration weights (needed for calibration) are really expensive

Pros: Quite impressive for the price. Not only is it fairly accurate but also can display weight in several different formats. Using a reference calibration weight of 2000g, the little scale was off by 8g. Thus an error rate of 0.4%, not bad at all for such a cheap item. Tares (sets to zero) rather quickly, which is not always the case with very expensive scales.

Cons: Build quality is rather flimsy. The little drawer containing the buttons slides out with spring loaded action, it seems rather fragile. The stainless steel platter was crooked on mine. I don't think it is really accurate to within 0.1g, but expected at this price.

Other: A no brainer at this price. Unobtrusive and practical. I would have to pay at least twice locally for something probably less accurate.
