Pro'sKit MT-1232 2.1" LCD Digital Auto Multimeter - Green + Grey + Red + Yellow (2 x AA)

Pros: Very-well designed instrument. Fluke-like case, very sturdy, build quality of outer shell, bumper and case is excellent. Adequate leads. Automatic fuse on universal input. Function selector feels very good. What distinguishes it from another classmates are excellent battery holder (two AAs, a-la Fluke-17) with metal nut, REL mode and backlight, which is only limited by auto power-off after 15 minutes. Precise temperature measurement to 1 degree, 3 readings per second display. Two OFF positions on rotary switch.

Cons: No manual ranges, only auto (rather minor for this class of instruments). Useless data-hold - max/min would be much more useful. Internal build quality is not so good, but no manual soldering could be seen. Combination of data hold and light on one swinging button is bad due to small size. No Fahrenheit temperature reading (or is it good?). Somewhat hazardous frequency measurement mode a-la UNI-T (see eevblog). No carrying case (not really a problem at this price).

Other: Very good, robust, precise and fit for every-day carry. No-frills, superb useability. The real thing. Recommended.

Pros: Really a good product, unfortunatly the box was crushed due to travel but the Multimeter doesn't report any damage. It's made with good plastic material and also the rubber shell makes it very sturdy. The test leads and cables are well made, also the materials of these are durable. The small dimensions help the transport and storage. Its precise and with a wide range of measure.

Cons: I prefer the range selector instead of autorange measure but anyway its handy to use so I do not find it a big problem. It seems to me that the cable length is not suitable to fit the test leads on the rear housings.

Other: For the price its a great product, I suggest it to every one is looking for a good multimeter.
