    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Not expensive, can trasmint on L1 and L2 bands too. Effective range is tested to be around 25m in an open field. On the board 2 VCOs are modulated and amplified to generate the output signal.

    Cons: The power switch is mounted in a fragile way, it's easy to bend it. If you have the skills, it's better to replace it. The battery seems to be charged directly from the bottom connector (through a diode and a resistor), so got to be careful with the charging voltage (i wouldn't go higher than 4.5V), and should not leave it unattended while charging.

    Other: If you need such a device it's a good pick.
