Professional Phone and Game Consoles Disassembly Tool (8-Piece Set)

Pros: The price make these tools a must have for the novice and expert alike! The plastic prying tools are excellent for opening all sorts, from phones to mp3 players to games consoles and a must if you don't want any marks left behind!

Cons: Only one, after only a few uses the blue prying tools are starting to show wear! Not a biggy as they are dirt cheap!

Other: If you want to take stuff apart then get these, at only a couple of bucks and free shipping you cant go wrong! Although they are cheap here i have now found them cheaper on another sight so maybe price should come down?

Pros: - Very useful for any electronic amateur or professional who dissembles a lot of electronic devices (like phones, laptops, cameras, camcorders, ect.)
- You get quite a lot of tools in the set
- Good build quality

Cons: - Really nothing that I can think of

Other: To me, very useful set of tool. Immediately as I bought it, I disassembled my iPhone 3GS with it wit no problem, and replaced it's chrome bazel, with a black one. I think I will have a lot of use of this product in the future.

Pros: Great buy. Screwdrivers are decent, and decently built, especially when one considers the price. T5 and T6 screwdrivers are clearly labeled and comfortably designed.

Cons: There is nothing bad to say about this purchase. If you do one simple phone repair, it will pay for itself dozens of times over. I used mine to take apart my blackberry, in order to clean underneath the keyboard after I spilled soda onto my phone.

Other: Great buy. If you have anything with small screws, buy this just to have laying around just in case.

Pros: Price of these little tools is excellent. I keep a set in my purse for emergencies.
This little set is very small and easy to transport with you anywhere.
The plastic prying tools are awesome for changing plastic cell phone shell cases without damaging your case.
These are great to have around for tightening glasses.

Pros: Well, not only is it dirt cheep, but it really comes in handy when I take apart cellphones. This has to be one of the best products you can get on DX!!!

Cons: Well the plastic pryer tools do slowly fall apart from use, but its soo cheap to get new tools, its not really a big deal. I wish this also came with the special drilled out torx tools, would be nice, but ohwell, still a great price for what you get!

Other: If you need small tools, and you take apart a lot of small electronic devices, I highly recommend these tools! You will use them!

Pros: Where in a normal store can you so easily find T5 and T6 screwdrivers? And let alone with free shipping? Most stores will charge high sums for just a few simple screwdrivers, not here. And then there's the benefit of the free shipping. Shipping costs usually make importing things from other countries a pain.

Cons: the following items were missing: 1 x 2.0 Cross screw driver (8.6*0.8*0.8cm) 1 x 2.0 flat slot screw driver (8.6*0.8*0.8cm) Not a major con since just about everyone has philips and flathead screwdrivers lying around, but still worth the mention.

Other: The essential parts for which you'd buy this kind of thing are there but the product description might need updating.

Pros: for the price, why wouldn't you want to add a little tool set like this to your toolbox. the plastic leavers are less likely to deform the case of your phone or whatever you are opening up, unlike the old screwdriver trick. You are also less likely to break those clips that often hold the plastic case together

Cons: I can't think of any cons at the moment

Other: if you ever pull apart something plastic, which is screwed together, this toolset will help you out.

Pros: Great little kit - useful for a whole variety of things - opening up games, phones, remotes etc etc. Build quality is OK, though one of my PCB unmount bars was broken on arrival. All the tools are small enough to fit easily in your pocket.

Cons: One PCB unmount bar arrived broken, not really bothered about that though.

Other: for $2.60 delivered this is a must have if you ever disassemble things.

Pros: * you get quite a few tools here. * pretty standard screw driver and torx sizes for small electrical goods. * the items should last a good year or so before i would need to think about replacing them. * it doesnt take up a lot of space in your tool box.

Cons: * the screw drivers are not magnestised, which is a real let down. * it could come with a little suction cup for i-pod touch and the likes. also the screw driver for the nintendo is missing, as far as i can tell, i haven't repaired one of those, yet.

Other: the pack you get contains tools that will cover most small electrical items that you could possibly face to fix. however, it is in no way professional, rather just a cheap set of tools for a simple repair here and there. i have already used some of the tools in this pack, they worked fine, just remember to be a little careful as the screw drivers arent magnestised.
