Professional Portable Retractable Tripod for SLR/Digital Camera

Pros: Very cheap (comparing to what you pay in Norway), easy to use, lightweight, fully adjustable. The height is OK for me since I shoot scale models it a small light cube. I think I would take it on a travel

Cons: Not suitable for heavy cameras? I have canon powershot and it works fine with it. Also I haven't tried it outdoors but it seem to be to light to shoot in windy weather. Material used for that camera are really cheap so I don't how long it will live :)

Pros: I bought this tripod for my video camera in order to be able to have a bit more stablity with long range shots and well as to be able to get into the picture myself from time to time instead of either getting stuck holding the camera of begging a passer-bye to attempt to film/photograph us.
The tripod is relatively stable despite it's lightweight construction and size. It is very portable and something you can easily shove into your bag and take along on short trips and outings without feeling you are dragging a cumbersome weight along for the ride. A large quality tripod is of little use if you leave it at home because is is just too much of a pain-in-the-butt to lug about. Better a light weight tripod you take with you than a super quality one at home on the shelf.
Fully extended is has surprisingly little wobble and comes across as reasonably rigid. Perfect for home video cameras and for vacation snapshots with lighter models of cameras

Cons: If you wish to go out bird watching with a telescope or a SLR with telephoto lens do not get this tripod. You will find it too light weight to risk your expensive equipment on. The legs are quite spindly and large weight will push then in to soft ground as well. It is smaller than it looks

Other: I'm quite happy with what I have bought and having seen the tripod I feel I have made the right choice

Pros: The tripod quality is quite nice, it is well build, cheap and lightweight. You can take it with you anywhere, it has only 35cm when all legs are lowered. Operation and usage is simple and fast. Carrying pouch included in the package.

Cons: It is too light to use with some large cameras, I don't think it can support anything too heavy. I used it with my compact sony cybershot which worked well, but I don't recommend it to use with SLR/professional cameras.
When using outside in bad weather the tripod may fall down due to its low weight, so make sure you are near it when shooting outside.
Although it is pretty solid, when you shoot or press buttons on camera, the tripod slightly moves, to prevent taking blurry image, shoot with self-timer, it takes a while for tripod to get into balanced position.

Other: I recommend it for amateur and compact photography, however not for fully professional photographers.

Pros: I bought this primarily for use as a tripod for my flashes for indoor use in my little studio and as a spare for my smaller prosumer camera. It's ok for smaller, lighter DSLRs with a light lens mounted.

Cons: The build quality is low but it is ok for the price, it is not unstable but I would recommend weights to keep it in place just in case. I don't see that I will be able to use it outdoors if there's any wind without using weights. Not for heavy cameras and lenses.

Other: It's a good solution for people who need a light tripod for carrying around or as a spare for flashes,it's height is ok for most though taller people might have to crouch a bit, ok for indoor use and outdoors with weights.

Pros: Lightweight, folds up fairly small, low cost. Great for compact cameras.

Cons: Possibly somewhat flimsy for some users. Don't step on it -- it will bend!

Other: Great value for money. I've got a mid-range full-size tripod but I don't want to cart it around Europe. This one is just what I was looking for.

Pros: For $15 this is better than my $200 tripod for carrying about on outdoor shoots. Its incredibly light weight, packs down tiny, and weighs next to nothing, so throwing it over your shoulder with your kit bag when traveling is great.

Cons: Its very light weight and clearly not built for heavy loads. I wouldn't recommend using heavy or telephoto lenses that stick out very far. This is a "just in case" sort of tripod, and not meant for heavy duty. I'd also not trust it too much in a high wind situation.

Other: Great buy at the price and a great addition to any camera kit.

Pros: It´s exelent!! I realy needed a cámera tripod and this one is low priced and exelent!! It´s very stable, I recomend this. It is not so fragile, you can use it without problem if you donpt kick it or someting like that :D

Cons: The product page at DX says it has 1,2 meters of leng, and it really has 1 meter aprox, as you can see in the pictures I sent. The camera sujetion part is noy horizontal when it is adjusted. It has no more cons.

Other: Exelent for FANMADE VIDEOS. Not recomended for professional videos.

Pros: It has good construction, light weight, easily and quickly movable, it's come with a good carry bag. The tripod looks nice. The head for mounting on camera is easy to adjust and come with a liquid leveler, that is VERY usefull.

Cons: Maybe it is too light and you will have problems on a windy day, specially if the camera is not too heavy. The legs looks a little fragile.

Other: The overall quality of performance is satisfactory, considering the price. I recommend it if you need a cheap tripod to carry it on a small place.
