Professional Set of 16 Tool Kits for Watch Repair

Pros: - Very useful if you need to do some battery replacements, adjusting the length of metal strap links etc. - Some generic tools which could be used for other purposes besides just for watches.

Cons: - Build quality isin't exactly fantastic, some of the metal punches fell out from the holder. - No user guide to state which tool is for.

Other: Got this primarily for battery replacement and strap length adjustments. 1 or 2 battery replacements on my own would have earned back the cost of this set of tools, than having it replaced at the shop.

Pros: It's very cheap set, so might help the beginner to get a grasp of how to use this kind of tools.

Cons: I didn't expect much for this low price, but in general, the quality is poor. Opening knife is made from too soft material, so after opening 2 watches made from brass, there are already dents on the edge. The pliers are not watchmaking pliers, because they are indented (don't use them if you don't want your watches parts getting scratched). On top of that, spring in pliers is deformed and not working. Tweezers and screwdrivers are quite OK, but be careful, as all of them are slightly magnetic(!). Springbar remover is too thick (and somehow deformed on the edge), can't be used if there is little space between strap and watch body (you will possibly scratch the watches).

Other: Not suitable even for basic use, better go and pay more for other products.

Pros: The toolset includes lots of tools and fit most watches. The pirce is good aswell. The screwdrivers is small and in nice quality. The set includes a hammer that works really well, liked that one alot. Packaging looks like crap, but what can you expect by the price... At least the toolset is good!

Cons: Quality is ok, some of the parts might break after a good use, but i does the job for a while.

Other: Great buy!

Pros: I've used it extensively for opening watches to replace batteries, and for adjusting metal watch straps. Never had a problem, and certainly miles better than making do with tools not meant for this purpose.

Cons: Well obviously, the tools are not made to the highest tolerances or with the finest materials. The screwdrivers feel like they'll break with enough use, though to be fair, nothing has broken yet. There are no instructions, so you better be reasonably good at figuring this stuff out, or finding a web tutorial.

Other: Honestly, it does exactly what you should expect for the price you are paying for it.

Pros: A lot of tools for not a lot of money. This set is easy to use and you won't need to damage your watches anymore. For the normal man this set is enough to open up the watch to replace a battery or shorten the bands of a watch.

Cons: There's no manual to show what all tools are used for. If you like large watches, the opening tool is not large enough for these watches.

Other: A cheap set for the replacement of batteries or shortening of bands..
