Pros: 1. Fits my sata hd well. Snug fit, no rattling.
2. Rubber shock mounts dampen vibrations & knocks a little.
3. Comes with key lock (2-keys provided)
4. Opening & closing action is pretty smooth. No excessive force required.
5. Black front panel.
6. Cooling vents on the front door allow hot air to escape.
7. Cables of a decent length to reach my server sized casing.
8. Key lock works well. Door latch can be opened, but the door will not swing open.

Cons: 1. Price on the high side but still ok.
2. sata & power cables not detachable.

Other: Not bad overall. Mounted my OS HD in this rack so I can unmount and mount another HD with a different or clean OS in case of failure or corruption of my OS.

Pros: - Came in plastic package avoiding possible watter damage while shipping - Easy to install and use - Locked by keys - ATX power connector eliminates need of SATA-power adapter - SATA cable directly connects to socket, that makes connection more robust - HDD better ventilated than in rack mount

Other: Highly recommended as replacement to rack mount cases.

Pros: Open frame design allows for a lot of air flow around the hard drive. Lockable for theft, or accidental opening. Good build quality of frame, yet light weight. Easy to set up. Everything fit tight and nice in my computer case.

Cons: The kit came with 4 mounting screws, but it should include 8. Also, the rack mount converts the sata power supply to a regular 4 prong connector. Most newer power supplies are switching to sata power, so its unnecessary.

Other: If you have the space for a removable rack mount, buy it!
