Protective Crystal Case for PSP 1000 (Translucent)

Pros: - Protects Your PSP from scratches and other damage
- Fits well on my PSP1000
- Pastic has cut-outs for memory stick changing / audio jack / charger jack
- Arrived in plastic sheets that protected it from scratches
- Screen has a open-able cover

Cons: - The cover on the screen does not seem to close properly
- Some parts of the case are really thin, and I'm worried they will break
- Could be a little cheaper too

Other: Buy it! Although I'm complaining it's expensive, it's actually still very cheap compared to retail stores.
If you're looking for a mediocre case for your PSP 1000, this is exactly what you are after!

Pros: good case for an original psp 1000, securely holds together and protects nearly all of the psp without being bothersome.

Cons: the only issue is the thin plastic, and front lid.
the plastic is quite thin, and can easily break when put on or being taken off. as is the screen lid which can swing up, does not securely fit into place all the time, i had to file a bit off the sides to get it to fit in better. if you never take it off, it'll be perfect.

Other: buy it if you need this sort of thing. buy 2 or more if you're clumsy with cheap plastics.

Pros: If you drop your PSP a lot, this case will save your PSP from being dented. The case allows you to use everything on the PSP. All of the buttons, power/hold switch, power jack, headphone jack, speakers, memory stick slot, USB jack, UMD, screen, IR port, all have openings. All buttons and switches (except UMD switch) can be easily used. There are pieces of cut-out plastic on the screen and UMD slot which you can flip open. The case fits my PSP-1000 with a tight fit, its perfect. This case is very affordable.

Cons: The case feels flimsy when it's not on the PSP. The UMD opening switch is slightly more inconvenient to use. Makes the PSP slightly more larger (but what case wouldn't?)

Other: If you still love your PSP-1000 and don't want to change to a newer model, this case will keep your PSP looking like new (if the faceplate isn't scratched already). All functionality of the PSP is retained.

Pros: It is a perfect fit on my PSP. You have access to your UMD and Memory Stick. It looks cool on my PSP since it is clear and made my Old PSP look new again. It actually does it job by protecting your PSP from any scratches. It is so cheap. Free shipping. Delivery was fast surprisingly (I live in Alaska and it only took 8 business days for me to get my order) I would definitely order again from them.

Cons: It is very inexpensive I wish I bought 2. I have no cons to say about this product since it is perfect and works really well. It fits perfect. People say that it looks like it can break easily..duh it is made of plastic. so just be careful when you are putting it on and taking it off.

Other: I bought this because I want to protect my PSP from scratches so I thought I'd buy a cover online. I went online and found dealextreme.com. I was a little bit skeptical buying because it was free shipping and I thought " what's the catch?" I ordered anyway and check it out. after 8 business days my order came and it was perfect for my PSP. I live in Alaska and I thought it will take longer but they exceeded my expectations. I love it and it looks good on my PSP since it is clear and it shines also..it looks like my PSP is brand new again.

Pros: This protective case is one of the best investments I ever made for my PSP. I know I hate even just getting fingerprint smudges on my PSP, let alone getting the casing scratched. With this case, the PSP is protected from everything. No fingerprint smudges, no scratches, no dings.

Cons: Easy to put on, but not so easy to take off. This thing fits your PSP 1000 like a glove! The only con from this fit is the fact that it is not easy to take the case off. Not a big deal since you can access EVERYTHING with this case on 24/7. The PSP and case still even fits in my PSP protective pouch.
Another con is that for those of us who love to play the PSP for hours on end, the plastic shell gets a little rough on the corners which causes slight discomfort, but again, this is only for those PSP owners who play for over 4 hours at a time (who I am), but even then, I would make this purchase again.

Other: This is a great investment. I have had this for over a year now and I still love it. This is definitely a must have for PSP enthusiasts.

Pros: Its a great way to protect your psp. I bought this case at the sametime as I bought a trasparent shell for the same psp. It the best thing I could have done for it. Its been a few months since I Replaced the original case on my psp and it still looks like new!!!! It doesn't intefere with the buttons or the analog stick at all!!! and ANY similar product goes for atleast double here in US.

Pros: Clear Plastic, i like the look although it may not be to everyones taste.
There is a little hatch for your screen so you can open it and clean out any dust.
Seems fairly robust.
Very tight fit on your psp.
Doesn't interfere with using buttons.

Cons: Bit creaky in some areas.
Not so easy to put on.
The case seems to stop the umd drive from opening all the way, this may annoy some people.

Other: I really like it, its ample protection for my psp and I may buy more in the future. Fulfils all my needs and keeps me from being paranoid that I will scratch my lovely mint condition psp.

Pros: Freaking awesome. Thought the plastic would be cheap, but this is tough stuff! I mean like the plastic is so clear! And its a great fit! I should buy these as presents for my friends who own psp 1k's like me! When I received it it was in bubble wrap, then a kind of cling wrap, so no scratches. This thing fits flush.

Cons: None, go and buy it! Its super cheap, like all psp accessories on DX! this thing made me fall in love with my 1k again, and I was gonna sell it for a psp go!
The only thing probably is that the UMD door will only be able to open a crack, like 3cm. Still enough room to put UMDs in.
