Protective Inner Case Bag for 8"/9" Asus Eee UMPC Laptops

Pros: Awesome price for neoprene!!!
Reversible in either black or red.
I bought this for my MSI wind, I didn't get the one for eeepc1000 because the MSI is a little smaller.
This fits perfectly, this sleeve is the reason I started spending hundreds and hundreds at DX. Someone posted it in an MSI forum and I was shocked that a quality sleeve could go for so cheap. I did some research about DX and found them to be legit so I just kept buying awesomo stuffs!

Cons: Stitching is black on both sides, would be cool if it were black on red and vice-versa.

Other: If you have an eeepc or MSI, get this. Neoprene slip cases are so hard to find without zippers or velcro!

Pros: Perfect fit for my Acer Aspire One 8.9" netbook! I have the 6-cell model and it is a perfect snug fit in all dimensions. No looseness but not too tight. No zippers or velcro to scratch the gloss finish on the case.

Cons: Honestly can't think of anything bad to say about it. I do wish there were more color choices besides red & black. Would be slick if it had a small external pocket for bluetooth dongles and the like but hey, it's only $4.99!

Other: Buy it!!!

Pros: I was looking for a sleeve for my Gigabyte M912 as the one that came with it was too bulky to fit in my little bag. There was nothing that would fit it except for all these custom sleeves which all cost an arm and a leg. Or the ridiculous and massively overpriced Tom Bhin brain thing. Then I found this sleeve when putting in 9" sleeve for my search. I'm happy I found it! I was seriously contemplating breaking down and get buying a custom sleeve from the UK for $80. This fits perfectly and the price is great!

Cons: This sleeve does have some downsides but, for the price, it is just nit picking to fill out this section.
The sleeve is rather unattractive with the red inside.
The neoprene is thin. It could use a bit more thickness to provide adequate protection. You would not want to drop your netbook in this thing or bag it around hard inside a bag. Basically it gives enough protection inside a well lined bag and will protect from scratches. That's it.
Maybe instead of more neoprene they could instead line it with some velvet or something, as it is a two hand job to get the netbook inside the sleeve. A smooth inner lining material would turn that into a one handed operation.

Other: What other choice do you have? This works for light protection inside a bag. Otherwise the price gulf between this and a custom sleeve is huge. I guess, as time moves on, bag makers will get with the program and make mid level sleeves that offer more protection. For now, this is your best bet.

Pros: nice bag, 2 colors as shown in the pictures, as someone mentioned he only received a black colored slip on

Cons: to big for the asus eee pc 900, its a good option if you have a larger battery pack.
sewing in some areas is a bit off, had to cut a few strands of thread on inside. also there was a tiny little hole near the bottom of the case, not noticeable really but i hope it doesn't grow

Other: the asus eee pc 900 comes with a case, but i didnt know that, its very snug, so this case would be good if you got a larger battery for your laptop.
Also for kicks you can flip it inside out to make a red case!

Pros: My Acer Aspire One with the larger 6-cell battery fits perfectly in this; easy to insert and remove. Slightly padded for a small degree of bump protection.

Cons: Smells a bit when first opened, but that goes away fairly quickly. I wish there were a small accessory pocket on the front. Not good for heavy duty shock absorption.

Other: I'm very happy with this, and recommend it to any 8.9" netbook owners.

Pros: I'm owner of the Acer Aspire One 110 netbook with the 3 cell battery. Case fits great for my Aspire One and cost is the best on the market. Not very tight. Looks like the case fits perfect the AA1 with the 6-cell battery as well.

Cons: Great to have velcro fastener on the flap of the case.

Other: Cheap and useful. Provide good protection for the AAO inside my backpack. Must buy item. I'm very happy.

Pros: - it's smooth and sleak
- the design is quite nice
- it has reversible sides so can be both black and red
- its soft to the touch, very very soft and smooth
- it doesn't make the laptop very much more bulky

Cons: - it smells funny
- might be a little on the thin side
- nothing else

Other: - buy it if it fits! its great

Pros: It provides really good protection against scratches and dust for your eeepc
Bought it for my 701 it fits good, there is a little extra room (wich is good) as this is for 8/9"...

Cons: When it came it stank for 3 days...of course that my eee caught a little of the stinch...but nothing to worry...it faded after few days...and a little perfume...

Other: I usually carry charger and small usb mouse in the same bag with eee and it got a scratch or two from one of them, so if you have the same case, this is perfect...
This is must have...you can just carry your eee in this...you'll look cooler than those lamers with their 15+" laptops.. :-))

Pros: I have a pink acer 9" that has a 9cells battery
- The material is so stretchable that it fits my 9 cell battery
- Really convenient
- At that price, it is unbeatable

Cons: - The BIGGEST con is that since the bottom of my laptop is white as well as the battery, the color red color that is inside the case went on my laptop. However, nothing dramatic, it went after I wash it with ahcohol.
- Advice: If you have a white bottom acer, you should leave the laptop case for a whole day in the HOT water with soap so most of the red color from inside will wash off.

Other: - The protective case is worth the money because those prices that are out there on the market are ridiculous!!!!!!!!!
