Protective Leather Case for 2.5" HDD (Black)

Pros: 1. Priceworthy, works well if you are not exposing your harddrive to too much harm 2. Ok quality. Not genuine leather though 3. protects your harddrive

Cons: 2. the backpart is connected only with one strap. Its made of a good material but still it doesnt look so stabile.

Other: I bought this togheter with the 2.5" HDD Enclosure SATA Wave-Body Silver and it worked well. I am little bit sad that the back part is not coverd fully and its only a strap that is holding it steady. The leather that comes with is not genuine so dont have big expectations. But for the price its worth it.

Pros: I bought this unit together with 25153 as I always travel around with my portable harddisk. I need good protection for them to prevent loss of my precious data. Both item works together well and I can fit my 2.5" harddisk into 25153 even with this leather case put onto my harddisk!

Cons: Nope, really cant find any complain. It provide good protection for my harddisk...

Other: buy it together with 25153 if you dont want to damage your expensive harddisk and the precious data in it. A must have combo for people who travel around with their portable harddisk.

Pros: Can hold a 2.5 inch external hdd and even a small car portable GPS. This item can fit inside sku.25153 for a double protection for an hdd enclosure.

Cons: Tight fit! My 12.7cm (5in) by 8cm(3in) hdd enclosure fits snugly. The corners are NOT protected in case of a fall or scratch. "New bag" stench. (Same as the smell in any handbag store.)

Other: Better buy sku.25153 when it comes back in stock. (This is better than nothing if you need to keep an hdd from rattling inside a laptop bag. If nobody looks into your bag, better use a DX envelope, like I mentioned above.

Pros: -Cheap compared to other cases on the market. -Nice quality and a sturdy finish, lets see for how long it will last. -Looks good in a exclusive way -Very much alike to more expensive cases, even considered lack of protection in the corners.

Cons: -Corners not protected, will only protect from damage if it falls straight down. Kinda bad in other words. -Tight fit for a 2,5" disk, perfect.

Other: Well worth the money, buy it!

Pros: This one does the job. First of all: It has a very good price. Second, it fits perfectly(!) to my Western Digital - My passport essential 500gb. Thirdly, it really protects it.

Cons: Even though it protects, you must not throw it to the floor. I guess it is better protection case out there, but this one is good enough.. it has saved mine from getting broken.

Other: Bottomline is that you should buy it if it will fit your hdd.

Cons: -it fits my hdd tightly. very tightly indeed. in long-term its elastics would split.
-my hdd is thick but its width an height is low. so there is empty zones on sides. it does not move inside the cover though.

Other: price is great. shipment is fast. i am satisfied with this purchase

Pros: This is a great price compared to the quality
It fits my Comstar Hdd just a bit loosely. Ièd prefer a snugger fit to prevent the HDD from slipping out
It's very easy to slip in the HDD, no fiddling with clasps or zippers.
This cover is unobtrusive and looks good.

Cons: The cover lacks corner protection, and there is no padding to cushion the HDD against shocks if dropped.
It is slightly loose with my Comstar HDD. It may fit other brands more tightly and with more protection. I'd prefer a tighter fit.
It provides good general protection against scratches, and only minor protection against dropping.

Other: It is well worth the money and is a good price to quality.
For travel protection, I'd use this with use SKU 25153.

Pros: I'm using it with Samsung G2 hard drive. The case is a little bit bigger than the hard drive (it's longer), so it provides enough protection from falls to the ground. Borders of the case are cca 3mm offset so when your hard drive drops to the ground, they take the hit and your hard drive remains in safe:-) I'm using this case with my hard drive every time. There's no problem with overheating because these small hard drives don't produce too much heat.

Cons: none for that price. it's not a fashion or style thing so who cares about the design. It's functional and that is enough.

Other: Cheap functional non-style thing that will protect your 2,5" hard drive.

Pros: - Cheap - Good Design - Elastics for all kinds of Enclosures' thinkness

Cons: - Bad Chemical Smell of the fake leather - The interior coating is poorly sewn, forming folds and it lines the glossy enclosures - Does not protect hard disk from dropping - Do not fit for very thight enclosure (like Toshiba StorE)

Other: Finally, the main raison if i don't use it: it lines my glossy enclore. It's more an agressive leather case than protective. The other reason is its thickness, one-third of an inch (1cm) to add the hard drive. Not very convenient for transportation. Sometimes, cheap stuffs are cheap quality...
