  • Nice cheap case to protect the back

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Bought this and a few other cases for the iPad mini as it was pretty cheap. It's fairly thin rigid plastic that covers all the back and all edges. The iPad clips into it so it sits a little proud of the screen, so if you were to put it down on the screen side it ought to protect from scratches. A good case for home use.

    Cons: I probably wouldn't want to throw it in a bag with just this case; I'd use SKU 173581 which I also have. This is a similar rigid back clip and a three part screen cover.

    Other: Another thing to keep the pad in tip top condition
