Protective Soft Pouch for NDSi/DSi (Black)

Pros: Note: I ordered this mistakenly for my NDL Lite. I only own a Lite, so NDSi users need to make careful judgement.
- PERFECT fit for NDS Lite. Not too loose, not to tight. No chance a DSL would slip out of it by itself, but it still can be pulled out in one smooth comfortable action.
- Covers NDS Lite completely, overlapping by up to ~1cm so it doesn't stick out and gets scratched - unlike with the supposedly DSL-dedicated sku.2977 (which I got for my better half) and most likely sku.2377 (which is what I actually wanted to order but realised my mistake too late - however it seems to be the same size as 2977).
- Looks cool and is nice to touch.
- While not exactly heavy-duty case, due to how it's sewed there's extra-thick layer on the seams, meaning extra protection on the corners.
- Mine came with an NDSi wrist strap as opposed to the photo. Con for me, but surely a pro for most people looking at this page.

Cons: - It's cheap, but still could be cheaper for how simple an item and design it is.
- The "mounting loop" of the wrist strap is too short. When attached to a DSL the whole plastic part holding it together doesn't extend beyond the DSL itself - meaning when you put it in the pouch it is constantly pressing on the R button which can quickly lead to damage. I didn't use it even once due to that.
- The Nintendo logo tab is sewed in at quite a noticeable angle in mine making it looks cheap.
- If you're getting it for NDS Lite, the embossed DSi logo will obviously not match.
- Would be a perfect product if it only included a zipper. There's just enough overlap on the opening, so I can see myself doing some casemodding here soon.
- Doesn't come in different colours (eg. pink instead of the abovementioned uselsesss sku.2977).

Other: Proof how mistakes can lead to nice discoveries.
I can sincerely recommend it to any NDS Lite owner, it's perfect.
As for NDSi unfortunately I don't have access to one to check it, but - anything higher and deeper than Lite will sit too tight, and anything wider will protrude from the opening thus being exposed to impact and scratches.

Pros: The pouch fit perfectly on my DSi. It is not too tight, not to loose. It is thick enough to protect the unit. Yet, it is thin enough to put it in your backpack or your purse. There is no strap included with the DSi so this strap is a must.

Cons: The pouch smelled funny when I received it (like fish I believe). The odor disappeared after one day. Only one color is available. It would be nice to have the choice.

Other: I think those items should come with the DSi retail box. Since they don't, buy them. It will protect your unit and save you a lot of money.

Pros: *Nice light simple case.
*Attractive sleeve
*Fits my DSi and DS very well.
*Nice sturdy strap
*Clean and attractive logo on case and strap.
*Although the case is light it does seem to offer a fair bit of protection from everyday use.

Cons: *Logo is a little crooked on mine.
*Strap is about an inch short on my Wrist for wearing while playing.
*Would like to have a simple clasp or clip to seal the DSi in.
*Only comes in black
*not enough protection for it to be dropped or tossed around a lot.

Other: Buy it!

Pros: Very very good soft pouch. Made of a very special material that keep the console absolutely free from scratches because the inner coating, and the outer coating dificults it slip from your hand.
The strap is very well made, really great quality in all it's length, and even a unexpected nicely detailed logo of DS and Nintendo.

Cons: Strap is good for pulling out the console from the case and for aesthetics since it's very bealtifull, but it's useless for me to use while playing, but it is enought for a kid put the whrist while playing.

Other: If I knew that it is so very well finished and made of this good material, I would pay ever 3 times more.

Pros: its very cheap and the build quality is great i use it every day and it didn' fall apart or something got lose
since it is for the dsi it's even better for the ds lite because the pounch doesn't end exactly with the ds it is a bit longer so the side won't get scratches aswell

Cons: i don't like the logo so mich would be nicer if there was only the nintendo and not the dsi logo but that comes because i have a ds lite only

Other: its a grea thing to protect your dslite and for the price realy unbeatable

Pros: Great product, fits my DSi like a glove. Couldn't ask for anything more for the price. Love the strap it came with also!

Cons: None other then the side where it says Nintendo DSi its a little crocked/lopsided but that's not really a big deal.

Pros: *very soft material to protect your ds.

*comes with a strap which i use on my SD card reader instead.

Cons: strap doesn't reach your hand while holding your ds :( unless you have small hands.

Other: if you have a dsi you have to get this...or DX will kill you...nah jokes lol

Pros: - Cheap price, with excellent relation of cust/benefit.
- Nice design, with the exact size to fit a NDS and NDS Lite
- Stamped Nintendo DS Logo, with very good quality
- No rebarbs
- Internal shock absorbing design
- Come with a strape printed Nintendo on it.

Cons: - It exhale chemicals smell in the first week, but now it´s ok!
- The strape could be a little longer (or maybe i have a big hand)
- Other colors could be available.

Other: This product could have other colors, and other logos printed on. If the manufacturers resolve to build other size models, to use with palms, blackberries, GPS. I´d certainly buy!
By the way. This pouch fits perfect on a Garmin GPS... and keep it more secure, when left on the car.

Pros: - Looks like an official product.
- Comes with a wrist strap.
- Very soft and protects very well.
- DSi fits inside perfectly.

Cons: - The wrist strap is useless because using it with the cover may cause damage.
- The Nintendo DSi indentation is upside-down.

Other: This is a cheap, protective cover. It works very well and helps prevent scratches.
