    Pros: Works great on Vista.
    No problems with PS2 controllers.
    All buttons work well.

Cons: Build quality was a bit bad. Does not look very good.

Other: If you want to play PC games with a PS2 controller this is good for you. Though you need to bind the controls to the controller in game so a bit hard at times..

  • Great alternative to a buying second SIXAXIS

Pros: Works perfectly on the PS3... Unlike most usb adapter converters made for the PC/PS3. It has a converter box built in the line, so it WILL properly map the buttons for use on the PS3 (others will flip, rotate, or invert the buttons). Supports Rumble Feature for PC, dunno about PS3 yet.

Cons: None so far... maybe a longer USB cord ? Doesn't really matter too much... you can use a USB extension cable.

Other: Great Alternative to spending $50 - $60 on extra SIXAXIS controller's for you friends to use... Lets you use PS2 controllers on your PS3 and PC.
Great adapter, nice Price, works great!
    Well worth the price.

  • Works even on LBP!

Pros: Works great on the PS3, even on LittleBigPlanet. 2 controllers on a single USB port. All buttons are mapped correctly.

Cons: Not a big deal but you can't reassign controllers since PSX/PS2 joysticks don't have the PS button.
If needed, after loading a game, just unplug and replug the adapter from the PS3.

Other: If you have spare PSX/PS2 controllers hanging around, this is HIGHLY recommended -- much cheaper than buying additional DS3/SIXAXIS.

Pros: Very good deal if you don't want to expend $55 on an original ps3 controller and have your old ps2 controllers.

Cons: Could be cheaper, it's a very simple adapter, $5 would be great for that.

Other: Buy if you don't want to buy original ps3 controllers.

Pros: If you have old ps2 controllers, you can use it on your pc/ps3. It allow to use 2 controller with only 1 usb port. Buttons are mapped correctly with both controller.

Cons: Bad build quality. You can't change the number of the controller, since it hasn't the PS button. The usb cord it's a little short.

Other: Good deal for people who doesn't want to buy another cheap ps3 controller.

  • Way cheeper than buying more PS3 controllers!

posted by emperordahc on 18:46:40 G11T 16/11/2009 certificated customer

Pros: The cable is very, very easy to use. Plug the cable into the PS3 and then plug in your PS2 controllers. Be sure to press the Analog button so the red light turns on. I already own two official Sony Dualshock 3 controllers. I'm using the adapter to add two more controllers for four player games. They worked perfectly for every multiplayer game I had, including Little Big Planet, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and Warhawk.

Cons: There was really no cons. The silver sticker on the adapter looks cheep, but that's no biggie. The adapter doesn't have a "Playstation" button, so you can't open the XMB via the controllers.

Other: Great adapter. Way cheeper than extra PS3 controllers!

  • Great little adapter

Pros: - Sturdy, well built - Works great on my Mac with games and emulators - No configuration or drivers required (on Mac OS X at least), just plug it into a spare USB slot and plug a PS2 joypad into it and it works. - Supports two joypads

Cons: - A Little bit pricier than some other adapters but looked to me to be better quality. - Nothing else. Does exactly what it claims to do.

Other: Ordered this on the off chance it would work on my Mac (I was planning to dust off my old PC if it didn't) and it works perfectly. Very pleased.

  • PS2 > PS3 and PC

posted by SleepingEye on 01:40:35 G4T 09/04/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Standard USB port to PS2 controllers - Works with most PS3 games (obviously games that require the PS button and the SixAxis motion control don't work)

Cons: - No PS button on dongle. Other products do if you need it, but those are generally single port adapters.

    Other: =)

  • It works for PC. Simple.

posted by Noomatik on 20:22:56 G7T 10/07/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Bought it for my laptop so I could use a PS2 controller with an emulator. Works flawlessly in Windows Vista. Just plug it in, then plug in controller. Includes mini-CD driver disc, which appears to be unnecessary in Windows Vista (even though it says "Windows Vista" on CD; perhaps needed for Windows XP). All buttons of my controller seem to work fine, along with vibration.

    Cons: None so far.

Other: So far, highly satisfied. Impressed with simplicity and functionality. Combined with PS2 controller, makes playing games on emulator seem much more "authentic."

Pros: the connector do his job nice. i dont have any more good things to say about this item.

Cons: the connector has 2 inputs for 2 controlers but only one of them works. so now i need to buy another one.
i checked the controlers and they work great.
im absolutly shore that im right and the connector is only works half of what he need to do.

Other: this item is not so reliable and i think people should try a connector from other brand like i will do now.
