What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: One button, point and shoot. No confusion, just works. Good build quality. Seems to be fairly water resistant (button is sealed).
Cons: Difficult to know if it is working since the LED is IR (I assume) and hence invisible. Hard to know if it works until you get your camera settings right.
Other: Simple, works well, looks like it will survive a long time. Don't doubt that it is working just because you can't see it -- have faith!

Pros: All the same function as the name brand but with the great price. It's pretty straightforward on how to use it with your camera. I have no problems using with my XSi. Lightweight, easy to use, small, compact...
Cons: It wasn't very responsive at first. I had to bend the inner metal part so that it makes contact with the battery.
Other: It also helps to keep your battery (side and facing part) free of your fingerprint grease. That way you have maximum contact with the metal part. Wipe it down with your shirt and/or wash your hands to keep it finger-grease free.

Pros: Excellent in terms of price and ease of use. The distance of proven use in my house as the result of reaching 5 meters, I could try more.
Excelente en cuanto a precio y facilidad de uso. La distancia de uso probada en mi casa a dado el resultado de que llega a 5 metros, no he podido probar a mas.
Cons: The battery should not come on, you can spend on the trip.
La pila no debería venir puesta, se puede gastar por el trayecto.
Other: None.

Pros: It is cheap and it works. Build quality is correct. Very small. So it is very easy to put in the camera bag and have it anywhere you need it.
Cons: Everything is ok. Maybe it should have been nicer if it was written "Canon" on it.
Other: If you don't know if it is usefull, just buy it because it is cheap. I bet one day you will be using it, and will be happy you have paid a few dollars only.

Pros: Its a very cheap and small controller so it will not take up any room in your camera bag. It works exactly as its supposed to, just press the button and the camera focus and add a little delay then snap a picture.
Cons: Only con I can really think of is that you cannot choose to snap a picture right away, you have to wait for about 3sec before it snaps the picture, witch if your taking the picture of yourself gives u time to hide the remote but sometimes you just wanna snap it right away.
Other: Cheap, small and it works,
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It will focus and snap a picture from across the room no problem. You can set the camera to use the self timer when using the shutter release. It has a hole you can use to put it on a string or keychain. It is super thin and portable.
Cons: It only has one button so you can't lock focus without snapping. It requires line of sight of the camera. It requires a camera that already supports wireless trigger (ie doesn't work with Rebel XS)
Other: For this price you can't go wrong. The official Canon slim trigger is a lot more than this and would preform the same. It is just an IR remote like you use for your TV so it's really not a complicated thing.

Pros: This compatible version is about 1/4th of the price of the original Canon, but works like a charm.
Build quality is good, small and thin. Also has a keychain-hole, so you can attach it with your keys or whatever.
Cons: It's not a big deal, but you can only use it for a 2 second delay picture and not for instant-snap photography.
Other: Very good deal and a must have for every photographer.

Pros: Excellent working device. A replica of the original. Good build quality. Good packing.
Cons: Small size. It's easy to lose. No strips or rings in the kit. But it's not important.
Other: Works with my Canon EOS 550D. 8 meters distance works easily (there was no case to check on the longer distance). The set comes battery. Good build quality. Comes in a box - can be used as a useful gift. The cost of the original remote - about $ 45 (my country). Very beneficial and useful purchase! I recommend to all!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very handy and tiny. Cheaper than any other wired or wireless trigger you'll be able to find on the net.
Cons: Hard to go wrong with a device so straight forward. No complaints other than having to wait for the device to restock. I guess it's that popular.
Other: Get this one over the brand name alternative. It costs exactly 1/10th of what my local retailer charges.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - cheap - does the job
Cons: - my product came broken into 2 pieces. after gluing it back together with it worked like a charm!
Other: i'm using it with my canon 550d. works like a charm. usefull for taking pictures of long exposure without moving the camera. can be used with BULB option (if ur camera has it). first click starts the exposure, second click ends it. all in all, a great product!
