    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Provides an extra back up battery and improved grip at the same time - All the ports and connections (including IR) are still accessible - Charges via the normal 3DS charger

    Cons: - Inserting and removing can be a bit tough - Cannot place 3DS on the cradle while it's inside - Feels a bit too light, cheap - Game storage/stand feels useless, too hard to open/close

    Other: For the price you can't really complain. If you like me feel that holding the 3DS hurts after a while you should get a grip anyway, and this one provides and extra feature for a little more than the price of a regular grip
