Pros: Fits right in PCI slot with minimum effort or special knowledge Has 3 modes of function: always restore, keep data till you restore, and open. Some MUCH more expensive software solutions only offer Restore and Open. Easy Install, easy uninstall Works perfect with Windows XP Excellent packaging and documentation [mini CD with drivers/programs/PDF english manual included], and antistatic envelop! Most other similar cards i've used over the years, have 6-10 times the price of this card. Does not mess with your hard dic, unlike some software restore solutions.

Cons: No Vista support yet Did not work with already installed recovery software on disk

Other: Almost perfect. Small size, has WOW factor [looks like a candy actually!] I just ordered one more for my second PC.

Pros: Works very nice i took a pc with a new windows installation on it. After installing the card and software whe tried to go on the internet. The network driver wasn't installed so whe downloaded it en went on the internet to get lost of spyware and viruses. The pc was totally messed up with popups etc.

After a reboot the pc was clean again even the network driver was deinstalled.

Cons: Comes with no manual but very easy to figure out

Pros: Very good and easy to use, config under windows XP(no Vista supports), Good build quality

Cons: if you use it under "recovery mode" for a whole day(long period of time) and have large amount of memory usage such as gaming/downloading, windows will warn you "virtual memory too low" then you need to restart you computer to clean up the memory buffer that occupied.

Other: this is a very good product, i already purchased 5+, and they are working very good. i recommend to anyone who are using windows xp.

Pros: Description shows version 11, but I received version 12.5 cards. Vista support even though I personally wouldn't use Vista. Cheap price makes these great for reselling as the other hardware solutions on the market are 10x as much.
Works as advertised and works well. Easy to install and uninstall.

Cons: Description shows version 11 with the DIP chip in the socket. Version I received was 12.5 and there is no chip in the socket. I thought there was and pried up on the 'chip' and it turns out it's a piece of rectangular plastic. There's a potted SMD chip on the board itself connected to the lines the socket goes to. The fake 'chip' was just hot glued to the socket. They could save a little by omitting the socket and applying the sticker directly to the board. Would also make the card even thinner than it already is.

Other: Great product and will buy tons more soon. I picked up 5 due to the reviews here and was not disappointed. I was even more excited to receive v12.5 cards instead of the v11 cards.
Cards are easily worth 10x the price DX is selling them for. In fact, the place I work for paid 10x the price for another brand that has the first name of a Roman guard. This is even better as most PCs still have PCI slots and some are getting rid of the floppy controller.
This is good also as it fits in the slot of an Intel Atom board and keeps the profile low.

Pros: Ive had this item for months i decided to buy since i am a pc builder, and repairist. Its a must for pc enthusiast... It helps you fix some crashes of your machines. And the good thing is this one is external not a program installed on your system files so no worries of corrupting your recovery file as it is recoverable by the pci card...

Cons: My only concern is how the pci card is pack with its product packaging. It doesnt protects the item at all when ship. Mine was pressed am lucky that the item wasnt broken..

Other: If you need a cheap and decent repair chip for ur pc buy this one...You wont regret it. Try it and check it for yourself.

Pros: I bought 5 V12.5 to test. The pci cards had come as announced. After read and follow the instructions the installation occurred without problem. I did some tests and the PC was recouvered readily

Cons: The packing came sufficiently damaged and some cds that come are copies. After install the system I removed the PCI card to test the prog if it stop the HD and for my surprise, ALL the PROG. WORKS WITHOUT THE PCI CARD! In the place of IC in the photo, a piece of plastic came and in botton it makes look like to be one Epoxi IC. In the site the SN informs to be original but the PCI look like not to have a function.

Other: For the utility of the Software, the price of software was not expensive.

Pros: Well, it is small and cheap. It does as advertised. I have used it on a old desktop to make it into a thin client.. Sort of.

Cons: When I installed everything on the desktop, put the card in and installed the drivers, I could not login as a regular user. It had to be an administrator account. This should not be the case off course!

Other: I would not buy one again. But, still a positive review.

Pros: -- works great, sets your system back to the way it was before reboot. if you have someone who keeps destroying their PC, this is perfect, no matter what they do, when they reboot, its back to the same state as set in the default image. -- if you are supporting elderly people's pc, this is great tool -- for someone who uses this to go online only, and does not wants to use firewall/anti-virus (although i very strongly discourage that) this is a great tool. -- no need to use steadystate like software based tools, use the real hardware based tool that the experts use.

Cons: -- initially you may have to struggle with the PCI port on the motherboard to get it to recognized by windows.

Other: you just can't go wrong with such a cheap price for a recovery card. absolutely must have for anyone who is more than a novice computer user. this will save you a lifetime of trouble and money.
