Red Laser Module - Focused Cross (3.5V~4.5V 16mm 5mW)

Pros: Fit and finish is excellent. Bright cross, easily adjustable focus. Seems 100% compatible with the famous "Aixiz" modules.

Cons: None that I can think of...

Other: Good bang for the buck.

Pros: Excellent build quality and finish. Easily focussed to a crisp cross. Nice and bright when properly focussed.

Very easy to use. Connect the module up to an appropriate power supply, focus, and do whatever you bought this for.

Cons: None so far!

Other: Simple and cheap option if you need to project a cross onto anything (e.g. walls for tiling, hanging pictures etc).

Pros: - It worksfine, good finish, focus are good as well - Good build quality - Easy straight connection to battery

Cons: - None, it is much better compared to DX SKU 5982

Other: This is laser pointer that use diffraction grating in front to generate crosshair type.
This is better version compared to DX SKU 5982.
Output is good, although it is not strong enough if you want to shine it more than 5 meter range in normal daylight condition. Also the line is getting too big once you exceed past 5 meter. It is good for short range line generating usage. You can also take the front optics out and stick it to other higher power laser pointer to make it crosshair type.

Pros: Very well made... Easy to disassemble... can be focused to give fine lines... the lines are perpendicular to each other thus really helpful in workpiece referencing for my CNC milling work... the voltage rating of 3V-4.5V also make power supply handling very easy... I just connect it to my USB and presto...

Cons: None... I did not buy enough :-)

Pros: This definately works and is a steal at what it costs the crosshairs may be a bit big for anything like airsoft or real rifles(they were about a foot wide at 10-12 inches but great for marking things or a carpenter's square

Cons: Craosshair are just a little big for what i wanted to use them for (weapons)

Other: Why not pick one up and experiment away with it

Pros: - chrome-style metal finish
- the cross can be focussed by turning the front focussing ring
- Good build quality
- No resistor required. I could hook it up directly to a battery
- output seems to be standard 5mW which should be enough for everyday DIY projects

Cons: no cons that I can think of. Wires could be a bit longer

Other: If you have a use for this gadget, you have to buy it.

Pros: -The laser is fairly small which is good for use in a number of projects. - Cross can be focused - Not extemely bright, but useful for anything with a range up to about 5m

Cons: For the price it is pretty hard to go wrong. Perhaps it might not be strong enough for people looking to use it over long distances. Also the cross becomes too large for anthing over about 5m.

Other: Great for many applications and cheap too!!

Pros: Nicely made laser
Can re-use the lens for other lasers / purposes
Nice metal housing
Can get a reasonably fine focussed line
Price !!!

Cons: The inner focus mechanism isn't particulaly tight. If you over tighten the outer ring, the inner can loosen up. Nothing a bit of PTFE tape won't solve if this happens.
Can be a bit bright for close up work

Other: Don't dither - its a good laser so buy one !

Pros: - Have it for almost 2 years now andit fits it's purpose fine. I youse it as a colliminator aid for my Kutler telescope. - Verry nice build with good lense and fully focusable. - Can use it without the crosshair insert to have a focusable dot. - low price.

Cons: - the focus unit sits a litle loose in the housing but you can fix that with sone teflon tape if needed.

Other: recommendated to everyone especialy if you are on a low budget.

Pros: The price is very good and it has the expected quality, you can hook it up in seconds and start pointing wherever you want. If you want, you can create your custom laser, and put it inside anything you want.

Cons: They work perfectly, at least 75% of them! ;) These modules safely manage up to 4.5 V button type battery power (as in electronic wrist watches) and they did not drain the batteries for more than an hour of work. This is an achievement bearing in mind the very limited capacity of those tyny buttons ;). Standard AAA batteries would last for ages. A perfect miniature module, an excellent buy!
