Refill Black Toner for Samsung and Brother Laser Printers (150g)

Pros: It is very cheap and comes in a very nice bottle. There aren't much more cons, it's just toner!

Cons: I tested it with a Samsung laserprinter and -however- it doesn't work as described. I refilled my printer with it and it did begin to print grey instead of black. I even did clean up my hole catride and refill it again, but it didn't work. So for me it is not working and i am happy that it didn't destroy my printer!

Other: It may work with the listed brother printers but with my samsung printer it didn't work. If you have a samsung printer, don't buy it!

Pros: Nothing, because the documents are plenty full of blurs of ink.

Cons: Very low quality toner. The 'real' weight are 90g or less, i scale it with the bottle and the weight are 115g!! instead of 150g () I stain my printer drum, and now i need to replace it, because print with blur of ink and its imposible of clean it.

Other: Tested in one brother recomended printer in the label. Get what you pay.

Pros: Nothing much for this section. It's just cannot print. Gray instead of black color.

Cons: I have try to fill my Samsung 108 cartridge but it unable to print in good shape. Grey color only, Most of the carbon stick on the roller instead on paper.
Lack of tool and proper instruction for refill

Other: Won't buy it again. I will prefer other solution or maybe DX can get better supplier.

Pros: I've now used 2 bottles of this toner over the course of a year and have not had any problems at all. I use a Brother HL-5170DN and the most difficult problem has been using a needle-nose pliers to pull off the clear plastic cap on the toner cartridge. To prevent possible over filling (Which can cause the grey printing problem, because not enough toner can be moved to the roller if it's jammed full) I put about half a bottle in per refill. Which usually gets me about 3000 double-sided prints. Nor have I had a problem with B&W photos printing badly.

Cons: You need a funnel of some kind to pour the toner into the small refill hole.

Other: It's worked great and without problem, but it's a little messy so pour it in outside your house or atleast spread out some newspaper around the work area when you try to refill.

Pros: - The toner works perfectly - one bottle allows for a complete refill of cartridge - normal use yields printing for well over a year - Price is unbeatable!

Cons: - It can be messy to refill toner - It may also be time consuming

Other: Cheap toner, that works great, don't hesitate to buy. If done right, you will not regret it.

Pros: -Easy to use
-Dirt cheap
-Works exactly the same as factory toner
-enviromentally responsible, just throw out a small bottle rather than a large plastic cartidge.

Cons: -can be a little messy to use
-No instructions provided
-could come in a slightly better bottle
-but other then that nothing!

Other: works great for my brother HL2140 a new toner cartridge was going to cost $130 for my $100 printer so i figured that this was worth a shot. it was easy to use and works perfectly and it only cost NZ$12 making printing dirt cheap! it is a bit fiddly and messy to refill the cartridge so do it outside, and wear old clothes.

Pros: Well priced...much cheaper than recycled cartridge and you know how many copies your cartridge has done. Well packaged & sealed for long shelf life. Print quality is as good as original, nice even and dense blacks. RECOMMENDED!!!

Cons: Could be a little cheaper and I'm not convinced that the quantity (weight) is as stated. The only improvement would be to include a funnel, but its not hard to make one from paper and sticky tape.

Other: Cant't go wrong with this product. Make sure you empty all the old toner out otherwise you may not get really dense black print.
