Pros: It´s very easy to use, so easy a kid could do it: connect to camera, turn on the camera; press halfway to focus, press fully to shoot. Camera stands still unless you move it.

Cons: I have it for a really short time so I haven´t detected anymalfunctions as of yet. A longer cord would be nice :) not that this one is tooshort, it just could be longer If I had to mention something that would be a little delay to take the pics (about 3/4 of a sec) and maybe that it seems to kinda not work when you push it halfway, it just takes the picture without focusing; still it just may be that I push too hard since I just got it, nothing else seems to be troublesome.

Other: Cheap, somewaht nice bould, easy to use,

Pros: It's GREAT! It does what other cable release cables to but at a VERY small price, compared to canon's. The button can be pressed down and moves forward to keep the shutter going, to utilize the "bulb" feature of the camera, which is simply genius.

Cons: I can honestly say that I've not found a single con with this product, yet!

Other: It's so worth the small price! Buy!

Pros: I bought this wired remote for my Canon Rebel XS (1000D) and it worked with no problems.
Press the button on the remote half way and it will focus the camera, press all the way and it will take the picture.
There is a lock on the switch so that you can use it for the "bulb" setting on your camera.
The remote feels very comfortable in the hand.
The quality feels pretty good considering the low price.

Cons: The wire could be longer but that's not a big issue.
The box it came in was squashed flat in the mail. I thought the remote would be damaged but luckily, it still worked great.

Other: Works as it should at a very good price.

Pros: I bought this wired remote for my Canon Rebel XS (1000D) and it worked just fine. You can push the button half way and it focuses the lens, push all the way and it takes the picture. It also has the option to lock the button down for when using the "bulb" setting on your camera. The remote feels comfortable in the hand. The price is really good for this product considering a similar remote on Amazon is approximately $30.

Cons: The wire could be longer but that's not a big issue.

Other: This works great at a great price.

Pros: the building seems ok, it came in a plastic bubble bag (tipical) it works with my canon 1000D and my canon EOS Rebel G (35mm film)
    materials looks pretty fine, nice

Cons: non i can thing of...
maybe the cord seems to be a little thin, so it gives you the impression that is goin' to cut anytime
but if you are carefull, it would be OK!
the trigger button is a bit hard so its difficult to focus and the take the shot. but after a few trys you get use to

Other: this is a MUST HAVE if you like long exposures pictures...

Pros: I bought this remote switch for my Canon EOS 450D and it worked just fine. Bull's eye my friends. The quality is perfect. The plastic case seems that will be in use just a long period of time. The wire is thick and durable. Some people in reviews sad that ''The wire could be longer'' but i think it`s OK! You put your camera on tripod an make a picture and if you wont to shoot a photo and be on that photo you need to buy a wireless remote switch

Cons: Have fan with it. stabilize you photo, no vibration, no hands shacking

Other: This is the thing that costs tied up money

Pros: The price couldn't be better". It's very easy to use! You plug it, andther's only one button! Very well build. Useful to get stable Photos. I bought this remote switch for my Canon EOS 400D and it worked perfectly, with no vibration, no hands shacking, just great. In the Bulb Position, i took photos with 120 seconds, allmost with no light at all.

Cons: No cons. at all. just pros.

    Other: PERFECT!!! PERFECT!!! PERFECT!!!

Pros: You cannot go wrong with this. it is a simple, easy solution to adding 3 feet from your camera to take pictures. You can simply press the button, or if you are in bulb mode you can press the button down and slide it forward to lock it into an open shutter state.
    It's a simple, easy remote.

Cons: It is a bit short..this wasn't a problem because I upgraded to a longer intervalometer quickly.

Other: Start off with this, it's a cheap $5 and works well. Then save up for an intervalometer for $30. This is a good starter.

Pros: Works with a Canon EOS 1100D EF-S 18-55 III Kit. Seems to be of good quality and does what it's supposed to do. Came in a retail box and was delivered very quickly (within two weeks).

    Cons: None

Other: Great tool for taking pictures with long shutter speed, whether you are doing macro photography or night shots. It will eliminate shaking the camera as you would if you press the button on the camera itself.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It came with box and instruction - but it is simple to use without any instruction. Seams durable enough.

Cons: Cable is a little bit short, but thats not really a problem for me. No other cons.

Other: This is must have for people who wants to try slow motion movies with DSLR or night photography. I considered to buy intervelometer but this will do the job just fine as long as you don't need to take pictures 30+ seconds apart from each other - you just configure your DSLR on continuous shooting and thats it.
