What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: - Cheap price, especially when compared to the original RM-UC-1 that cost 40+ USD.
- Good build quality.
- Functionally, it is the same as the original RM-UC-1.
- Has lock mechanism, which makes bulb exposure the most practical.
- No battery needed for shutter releasing.
- Not only good for long exposures, but also good for avoiding camera shake while shooting at extreme telephoto.
Cons: - None so far, especially when considering its price.
Other: - Recommended to anyone using OLYMPUS digital camera that accepts wired remote RM-UC1. The OLYMPUS RM-1 wireless remote control could be a
complement for the users also.

Pros: Very nice to use, quality cable with good lenght.
2 position shutter release is much better than on the IR version. Hold mode is good for bulb shooting or for continuous shooting.
Works with all Olympus cameras, tested with E-520.
Cons: Hard to notice the position of the knob.
Other: Hard to beat this price and good quality. Highly recommended!! +++
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: light, easy to use
works nicely with my olimpus sp560uz
Cons: not very well built. does not have a quality feel to it.
the button is very unresponsive. difficult to destinguish between a half press and a full press.
i wasn't in stock so i had to wait for it to be sent (took 2 weeks) and a wait of 3 weeks was required for shipping (to croatia)
Other: buy it if you need it. it is cheap, relatively good value for your money.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Although it is not mentioned in the description, it works with olympus OM-D E-M5, I had no problem connecting it. I did not have to "push hard" to get it to connect to the camera like mentioned in some other reviews.
Cons: there is not much difference in feeling between focus and shutter so accidental triggering can occur if you are not careful.
Other: it is cheap and it does what it needs to do
