What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: This part is a perfect replacement for the original screen, quality is excellent and is indistinguishable from the original.
The part is well protected before installation with a standard static cling sheet over the surface and a more rigid sheet over the digitizer.
Cons: The hardest part of the repair was finding appropriate double-sided tape to attach it to the frame. The original adhesive will come off with the damaged part.
Other: If you need to replace a damaged digitizer on the iPhone 3G, this part will do so adequately. However adhesive tape is essential

Pros: Much cheaper than going to Apple. Works great as a Direct Drop/Plug in replacement screen.
Cons: But wait!!! My touch screen sensitivity is no where near what the original one had... even when my original screen was broken. This is quite frustrating at times and I imagine it would be worse if you play games on your phone. You also need to be good at working with small, delicate electronics... or know someone who is. The only truly hard part was heating the broken screen to weaken the glue. Using a hair dryers take a long time.
Other: If your screen is broken what choice do you have? Pay Apple $200 or pay $24 and do it yourself. I'm willing to sacrifice a little touch sensitivity just to save almost $180. Search YouTube for step by step walk-thru tutorials on replacement. It's really not -that- hard. This does not come with instructions (not that I'd have used them since YouTube has video instructions), installation tools (sold separately but not really necessary if you have jewelers screw drivers already), or the glue/tape needed for install (Staples or Walmart have the double sided tape cheap).
