Repair Parts Replacement Bus Wire for NDS

Pros: Best price from anywhere! They're at least double on ebay...
This helped me fix my snapped in half DS, finally...

Cons: Difficult to install, even for someone who's experienced at taking apart Gameboys and the like. Doesn't come with instructions, though I didn't expect them to.

Other: Much cheaper than buying a new DS, even when I bought a new housing for it too.

Cons: none at all, a little hard to install but that is not really a con for this product just the design of the DS

Other: a lot of work to install but worth it if your old one is broke. The DS is bad about having broken hinges and this trashes this ribbon cable. This is the ribbon you need to repair it.
Consider yourself lucky the DS lite requires you to replace the whole upper LCD if the ribbon breaks.
If yours is broke BUY IT.

-cheap (especially if you use free shipping)
-can help you repair yout DS if your screen doesnt work how it should (my screen was just white because of a defect cable now with this new cable works)

Cons: -much work , i needed more than one hour.
(but none really, this con is just because of nintendo and not of this product)

Other: if you have problems with your upper-screen just buy it.

Pros: It does the job, and very well. It works great.

Cons: It is somewhat involved to install, as not everyone is going to be comfortable taking their DS entirely apart. The ribbon cable does have to twist a certain way as its threaded through the hinge space and into the unit, or it won't recognize that it is connected.

Other: It does the job, and the price is very fair. There isn't much more to it.

Pros: It works perfectly!
This Bus wire is more thicker than the original I've replaced.
This product helped me repair my NDS.

Other: Buy this product if you have problem with the display of your top screen.
For just a little money you'll be able to fix your NDS without buying new one.

Pros: I had to use this in order to repair a broken Nintendo DS that would only display white on the upper screen and it worked. It is good to know that DealExtreme has practically every repair part you could possibly need.

Cons: Those that plan on doing a repair that requires replacement Bus Wire be prepared to easily spend about an hour.

Other: If your top screen is not functioning the way it should than this will do the trick.

Pros: I fixed my DS with it!
If your top screen in white or not showing anything this is probably what you need to fix it.
I was slightly "rough" when replacing this part and it held up just fine. I was worried that I may have damaged it but it held up just fine to all my twisting. (I don't suggest this, but it should be fine to be a little rough.)

Cons: Quite difficult to install correctly!
It took me 2-3 times twisting it around to get it right.

Other: USE YOUR OLD WIRE TO FIGURE OUT THE BENDS!

Pros: As others have mentioned, this cable is a bit thicker than the cables that come with the original DS. I think this is a pro because it should hopefully last longer too. Also, if you're replacing the case, you don't need to worry about removing the old one, so you can leave it in and copy the bends ;)

Cons: I can't really think of any... it was a bit of a pain to put in, but I think it's the nature of the beast.

Other: If the upper screen of your DS isn't functioning properly, you probably should try one of these before freaking out too much. It takes a bit of time to install, but pretty much anyone should be able to with some patience.

Cons: Hard To Install i was very Afraid When installing it Other Then That NONE !!!!!!!!! It Has No Glue Like The old one thats stick to the screen i used a Tape to Tape It :P

Other: If Your Ds top screen Is Dead Trying using this and it will work With Cheap price The Cheapest

Pros: - Perfect for those who have bad colors on their up screen or no color at all
- Really great built quality (even thicker than the original one !)
- Does perfectly it's job
- Cheap !

Cons: - A little difficult to set it up, follow a tutorial
- No adhesive part for stick it on the back of the screen like the original one, but a small tape will do the same (I didn't stick the mine and it works perfectly !)

Other: I bought a Nintendo DS with the case broken and repaired the color problem with this product (the original bus wire was damaged).
