Repair Parts Replacement Home Button Ribbon Cable Module for iPhone 4

Pros: Fully compatible with iPhone 4. The price is very low compared to the price of service centers.

Cons: The package for the Home Button Ribbon Cable Module should be a plastic case and not a cellophane bag because it's very fragile. I was lucky that the mail service didn't damaged it during delivery.

Other: As it says in overview - professional installation is recommended, but I would say better REQUIRED, because the iPhone 4 should be completely disassembled to change Home Button Ribbon Cable Module.

Pros: - rather cheap - fast delivery - good quality: almost identical to the original part, even the contact isolation ribbon is in place - the part fitted in perfectly

Cons: - none related to the item but you will have to disassemble your iphone completely to get to this unit in order to replace it - you will have to even remove the screen which is rather hard process without having a set of disassembling tools

Other: My old button became faulty after 1.5 years of iphone use and using the phone like that for couple of months was a pain. After installing this replacement it is a relief to have the phone work flawlessly once again

Pros: It's an original part! Works fine, flawless.

Cons: There's no bad comments. It's just hard to fix the home button, you must to open the iPhone completely to get there...

Other: I recommend only for technicians to do the reparation of the home button. I took 4 hours to fix my iPhone, and there's a risk you damage your cellphone, just pay attention!

Pros: Great quality and it looks to be the original product. The fit of the connector, button and cable self was perfect. There is adhesive on the backside of the button to stick it to your original home button. Now the button works like it should and registers all clicks!

Cons: Installing the flex cable is not easy, I personally broke the LCD screen of the iPhone when I disassembled it. So tearing the iPhone apart is not easy, but installing the cable itself is peanuts. No cons about the product though.

Other: Great product, installing it is not really easy.

Pros: It was a nice experience to have delivered new part (home button) to my iPhone4 from DX for almost 14 days. Amazing price and looks almost as the original home button. Seems like it's good quality. The pass perfectly.

Cons: Much work to replace home button. It is important to also buy a set of tools for this job.

Pros: I replaced the button yesterday. It has a good fit in the Iphone and it works! There are no noticeable differences with the original button, so I would say this is a good buy!

Cons: None, assembly needs some time though (but that is the case with any new button)

Pros: Did the replacement yesterday and it works perfect.. Bought the tools too from dx and it has been awesome. The quality looks excellent and hope that it will last for sometime before i move on to another new phone.

Cons: If you don't have the right tools to open the iPhone, you might end up damaging the cable of some component in your phone. No more cons about the product, will have to wait to check it's durability.
