Repair Parts Replacement Inner Antenna Module and MIC Set for NDS Lite

Pros: Unbeleivable price for these two items, which can often become damaged when the DS case breaks. Both parts work just like originals, once fitted to your DSLite.

Cons: The actual microphone is a bit larger than the original, which makes it impossible to fit the small rubber surround. Although the larger microphone does fit perfectly into the case without the rubber installed.

Other: Often these wires get "stressed" when a DS Lite suffers a case breakage and even though the wires look ok they can be damaged internally. At this price, you should definitely order some when you order your replacement top screen, just in case.

Pros: If you've broken the hinge on your DSL, you may have also damaged these wires as well. Luckily, DX has them at a very affordable price. Both pieces fit into their appropriate spots perfectly, just like the OEM parts.

Cons: While not a flaw of the product itself, replacing these wires are very tricky. You must open the DS (obviously) and work around the fragile ribbon cable that connects the top screen to the motherboard. The wifi wire is especially troublesome, because you must pass it underneath the Slot 1 package. Aligning the mic cable underneath the board and getting everything to sit flush again can also get annoying.

Other: If you suspect that either of these wires may have become damaged, buy this set. It's only a couple of dollars and pretty to easy to install if you're already opening up the DS anyway.

Pros: The price is unbeatable; don't even bother looking elsewhere. These fit perfectly in place of the original DS antenna and mic cables. They're conveniently sold together, which is nice because when one breaks, the other is sure to be broken, also.

Cons: Replacing these cables is about as difficult as replacing the top screen, which you'll probably also need to do if the cables were damaged. It takes a bit of know-how and some patience.

Other: Because they are coax cables, you should buy them to replace damaged DS cables, even if they are not completely severed. What appears to be slight damage can severely impact your wifi signals.

Pros: -Very cheap
-It replaces your dead microphone and/or you dead wifi antenna
-Look really similar to the original ones

Cons: -The mic is a little bigger than the original one *the rubber part), so it doesn't fit properly
-Comes with the wifi antenna, which I bet is useless to most people, as most people need only the microphone replaced.
-You might wreck you system while installing these, making them completely useless

Other: Awesome price, I just wish they'd sell them separately. The antenna is really useless to me.
Get it only if you're replacing the whole shell.

Pros: Awesome product, though I didn't actually use it in a Nintendo DS. I ended up using it for some hobby work on Android Mini Sticks, and they work beautifully, giving a great boost in signal. It's small size makes it easy for me to repack it back into the Android Stick as well.

Cons: It's a shame that I don't need the Mic though.

Other: If you're in need for a cheap good replacement for a Nintendo DS, or just a hobby worker, do look into getting one of these. They may require some technical skill getting them installed, but the efforts are definitely worth it.
