Repair Parts Replacement Power Switch for NDS Lite

Pros: It works. What else is there to say?
I also think its sturdier than the original switch, which is a triangular shaped knob and has a thin easily snappable connection. Its hard to explain, but if you broke yours, you would know what I'm talking about.

Cons: Its actually shorter lengthwise than the original switch and doesnt have the extra 2 legs to anchor it down at the edge, but the 4 contacts match up properly.

Other: Perfect replacement for one of the easiest things to break in the ds lite.

Pros: Ok. My DS is fine. I just bought some spare parts. Just for case.

Ok. I've compared it to the original switch.
I haven't found m??? difference.
Well, yup, it does miss some anchors... that could be fixed with a drop of superglue..

Cons: I haven't soldered it in yet.
so i can't complain.

Other: Bought it just for case.
Now, DSi is out... so.. we have to prepare some spare things to fix old DS

Pros: - Full replacement for the original switch.
- Has the same dimensions and works the same way.
- Way cheaper than replacing your DS or motherboard.

Cons: - Just as fragile as the original switch. That means, if you're not careful when putting the case back together, you could break it again.
- You need to have some soldering skills to replace it. The DS motherboard is easily damaged by too much heat or a too big tip.

Other: Usually, the switch breaks when you try to put together your previously opened DS case, leaving you with an unusable game. This switch replaces the broken one and makes your DS work again.

Pros: It was easy to install.
Works as well as the original one did.
Very sturdy once soldered.

Cons: None.

Other: Better than sending your DS to Nintendo (time wise.
Very cheap, cheaper than any other site or shop.

Pros: Excuse me for my poor english but i'm french,just to say that is a good part for replacement of the original and price is good.
Great quality of manufacture

Cons: Use a soldering iron adapts and all will be well.
Take care when unsolder the broken switch, the legs can tear off the track of the motherboard.
Put welding at the missing place of the 2 legs and the switch will be well fixed.

Other: Many DSlite have a broken switch because people forget to place the plastic button correctly when reassembly it.

Pros: It is a duplicate part for the DS lite and it fits in position and works.
It costs next to nothing.
What better could be said about it?

Cons: Small, breakable and easy to lose
- just as it should be expected to be and that is not a fault but a fact of life.

Other: Have you tried getting hold of one of these from a local supplier?
Unless you have a couple of days to spare and / or a personal shopper AND a big wad of cash, this is your best option.

Pros: Broke all of my Nintendo DS lite's power switch. it was actually quite easy to do and i didn't burn much of hte other copoents.

Cons: Missing the two pegs at side and the 500 word min

Other: Great fix for broken NDS L power switches.

Pros: - Really good if the switch is broken
- You can buy a DS lite with broken switch for cheap and then get this one and you just need to solder a bit - can save a lot of money if you can get a DS lite with exactly just that switch broken..
- Maybe it is even sturdier than the original! (mine still lasts since a quite long time)
- Quite easy to install still it isn't 100% as easy as it would be with an original replacement part

Cons: - the two little metal parts at the sides are missing, like the original has, but not too much of a problem when installing it..
- the price could probably be less, but you can't get it for less anywhere else, so it is still good

Other: Get it if you need it and just buy 2-3 of them, you never know when you will need the next one again! I keep one spare here...

Cons: No cons? Really? Well be sure you know how to solder tiny tiny points before you buy.

Other: Great if you need to fix your broken Nintendo DS. Also it's so cheap you can stockpile it just in case you need more in the future, or a friend has broken their power switch too.

Pros: A new Switch! mine broke off when replacing the casing, and first i did it with a toothpick to turn it on, but it sucked, so i Soldered (yes soldering, if you don't know how to do this, you schouldn't have screwed around with your DS and send it to Nintendo to have it replaced for 70 bucks) it was hard, because it was so small. to bad i swore to never open my ds anymore, or else I could have shown it.

Cons: Nothing-Except that it is small, but that makes the DS also small. I had the Fortune fix it, but it was hard.

Other: Good product, hard to solder, but then you shouldn't even thing about opening your DS.
