Replacement 3.7V Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Battery with Tools for iPhone 3GS

Pros: New battery. Works fine. Started out that it was at 100%, and fell down to 60% before it started charging properly.

Cons: Tools provided with the battery is not usable for anything. Dead weight. I could not use the screwdriver with the screws in the bottom of the phone. It's just too big. The green tool to flip the screen out is not usable for anything. (but filling up the thrash). I used a smaller screwdriver and a shower suction cup :-)

Other: I was tired of charging my iPhone twice a day, and a new battery installed by local cell shop was $150. Buy this. Worth the money.

Pros: The battery life of my 3GS was getting shorter by the month. Towards the end of 2010, it would power off whenever I tried to use the GPS, camera or even sms!
This is the first time I've ordered something from dealextreme. The battery came after 3 weeks. I installed the new battery with instructions from you-tube & ifixit.com, prayed for it to work, and it did!
I could have got a replacement in Singapore for US$32, but prefer to do it myself as I'm a DIY guy.
I'm a casual phone user. My 3GS now has 2 days standby time, and does not power off when I using GPS, etc.

Cons: I could not use the iphone camera after assembly. Suspect that the camera connectors are dirty or not connected properly. I will dismantle it another day to fix this problem, but in the meantime, the 3GS is serving me very well.

Other: You need to be a little tech savvy in order to replace this battery yourself. If not, just upgrade to iphone 4.

Pros: -packaging was as per photo, comes with plastic spunger tool + screwdriver + battery -battery strength is as per what I had when I just bought my 3G[S]

Cons: -spunger tool was of very inferior quality, broke almost without much pressure applied -screwdriver does not do its job, unable to use it to open my iPhone screws

Other: buy it if you need to change your iPhone dying battery Note: spunger/screwdriver DID NOT work well for me, so please prepare additional spares to get the job done.

Pros: well now i have a spare battery... i picked this one out of the tons available based on review

Cons: do you really need a spare battery... replacing this will require good eyes, clear mind, steady hands

Other: Turn out that by the time i got my battery, I Learned that skype left on drains batteries.. I simply managed my apps better and charge my phone each night... MY BATTERY IS FINE !! lol I never installed it after all... it's just sitting there in my drawer... Like i said, now i have a spare battery... for 11$

Pros: Easy installation, the battery is doing its job better than the old original battery with more than two years old age.

Cons: The installation tools inside the package is just for viewing, since it is made by plastic. It might be skill problem but end up I managed to open up my 3GS phone using other tools.

Other: Get a new phone instead of a new battery if possible lol.

Pros: fits an iPhone 3gs easy to replace with the tools added (but need to google the instructions, especially the part about having to remove the "do not remove" label to uncover yet another screw!) Also, it comes with a new sticky tape on the back, so one doesn't need to re-use the old gooey one

Cons: After a short while it seems to not hold the same capacity as when freshly replaced.

Other: for a short while, it worked better than what I remember about the original. At the moment, it works ok, but not stellar.

Pros: Replaced the more or less dead original battery in my iPhone 3GS. As far as I can tell/remember I'm now back at more or less the same capacity as when the phone was new.

Cons: The screwdriver that comes with it isn't very good.

Other: Very good replacement for the original battery, If I would have gone to a third party workshop here in sweden I'd have to pay around 60$ for the same thing.

Pros: Received all goods in good order, it was extremely cheap and totally worth it for the ability to revive my phone's battery life back to its original health. Very useful, there's step-by-step guides on the procedure on YouTube.

Cons: took the full 10 days to get delivered, was hoping it would have been a little bit faster.

Other: Good job, will definitely be back for more purchases. :)

Pros: It works, was easy to change

Cons: -The plastic piece is not useful and can be bent easily. Better to use a sucking disk (is used mine from my GPS from the car :)) - The performance did not improve. I had my old battery on 7-800 cycle and was not able to survive one day at all. With this everything is the same. My old battery had the same hold. Maybe this is the maximum...

Other: Get it if your battery really old. But I am not sure if this one has the same power lever and quality then the original apple battery.

Pros: Good battery replacement for your iPhone. Way cheaper than original apple and works just fine. So far, battery fully charged holds charge for about 1 day on a heavy use mode (heavy 3G use and talk time)

Cons: Very hard to install. If you are not an expert, you will need to find a technical person to disassemble your iphone, install it and then reassemble. Don't try to do it yourself if you dont have the skills.

Other: Good buy! If your battery is not working anymore, or not holding charge long enough, go for it.
