Replacement Buttons Conductive Pads for NDS Lite (3-Piece Set)

Pros: Fits perfect. Easy to install. Fraction of the cost than from Nintendo would of been. Seems to be the same as orginal.

Cons: I can’t think of any.

Other: Improve your game play or save your DS from a costly repair or trashing.

Good Buy.

Pros: It is like the official pads. Size is the same, colour is the same.

Cons: The spongyness could have been stiffer, because it obviously felt different. As if you used a real pad's life of 25% already.

Other: Great product nonetheless.

Pros: Perfect replacement pads compared to originals. Good price. Easy installation.

Cons: A bit less bouncy than originals.
Need to buy tri tool separately, but it's less than a $1.00.
No install instructions, but pretty self explanatory.

Other: Not the exact same feel as new, but mine were so worn out from too much Mario Party DS that these made the buttons feel pretty close to new again. I have a new DS Lite that I compared them to :) I bought an extra set for the inevitable replacement. Will probably buy a couple more for spares.

Pros: This is a good price, considering shipping is free, so you're getting them delivered to your door for less than 2 bucks. Same size and appearance as the originals.

Cons: As others have mentioned, they aren't as stiff or spongy as the originals (but for 2 bucks ... what do you expect???)

Other: Good value for the money. Pick up a set.

Pros: I ordered these as replacement buttons for my DS lite since the pad on mine was becoming very dull from constant play. The quality of them is nearly the same as the original buttons inside the system so it felt about the same as before, but of course they aren't quite as stiff as when you get a system brand new, then again the system has already been through massive use so that isn't a problem for me.

Cons: None really, other than opening the system to put them in can be a challenge if you don't have any idea what you are doing.

Other: They make good replacement buttons and save you a lot of money compared to sending your system into Nintendo for repair/refurbishment.

Pros: -My ds was feeling really old, this brought new life to my games!

Cons: -They came in a little plastic bag, but for the price, it's expected

Other: If you feel your buttons aren't responding as well as you'd like, these are what you need, don't hesitate to buy them, and with free shipping what more can you ask for?

Pros: This is a great Replacement Buttons Conductive Pads for NDS Lite, my son's DS Lite D-Pad down button feel funny and I replace the Buttons Conductive Pads and now it feels like new.

Cons: The only issue I have is that you would need to open up the whole bottom casing and you need to be careful if not you may break some of the casing plastic or lost some small parts.

Other: I have bought 2 as the second for backup.

Pros: Fits nicely into the ds slots, adds a little spring to old buttons. Definitely buy this if your repairing an old DS.

Cons: not quite as good as stock parts, which is a tad disappointing.
another color could be nice for clear cases, which you would think a lot of people here would do.

Other: A good idea if your replacing them in a older ds, but probably not worth cracking it open by itself.

Pros: These have a good build quality, and are decent sellers if you plan on re-selling these (buy a few to start out with, and give them a chance).

Cons: Could be slightly cheaper when it comes to bulk pricing. Baggies they come in are kind of cheaply made.

Other: If you're thinking about re-selling these, buy a few. You might not sell them all at once, but my customers tend to like the large selection of repair parts I have.

Pros: Make excellent spare parts. Even if you don't sell them all, someone will eventually snapp them up. After I repaired the DS Lite I gave the button a push and I was drifting on Mario Cart. After my friend gave his repaired DS Lite he loved so much a try and voilà he said his DS Lite was like new and the reaction time was superb.

Cons: When my friend tried installing the D-pad conductive buttons he some how ruined his bottom screen. In the end I had to repair his DS. Could be cheaper. LoL

Other: I repaired my friends DS Lite. Easy buck for me to make even though it wasn't much but I enjoyed fixing DS Lites as a learning experience. This prduct is a must when your mashing buttons all the time on your DS Lite especially when you play Mario Cart.
