Replacement Fixed Iris Lens for CCTV Camera (1.8mm)

Pros: Gives very wide field of view easy to fit and focus fits in a wide range of cameras

Cons: Field of view is too wide for many cameras. In most of my cams, the lense was so wide it showed the housing of the camera around the outside. If the camera you used it in has an exposed lense it would be OK but if it is within any sort of housing it will probably do the same.

Other: This item is as described but if it is used on anything other than a board camera it may be too wide. The view is also a little "fish eye" with distortion around the edges - as would be expected at this focal length.

Pros: The lens screws nicely into my cheap USB webcam. I expected to have to glue it in place or something like that, but I did not.
Image quality is good, at least as good as my original lens anyway. It's a cheap webcam so I can't tell whether it's exceptional or not.
Distortions are quite acceptable in my opinion.

Cons: You can't call that a con, but the front element is very exposed. You have to be careful not to scratch it. The included cap comes in handy.

Other: This product gave a new life to my webcam. I'm very happy with it.

Pros: - A wide angle.
- Metal enclosure.
- IR cut filter
- come with a protective cap.

Cons: - the protective cap on one side only
- aperture is less than that of conventional lenses. may be worse at night show.

Other: the most wide-angle lens is one of those which I have met. a little distorted picture but can see all that I want.

Pros: > good image quality > wide angle > IR filter, same as the original lens the came with my IP camera

Cons: > lens goes way inside when winding it to get it to focus exposing the removable cap winder (housing) I took from my original lens when viewed from the back of the lens > it loses focus for some reason after sometime (removable cap winder from original lens is not long enough to support the new lens)

Other: if you are looking for a lens with an IR filter and a wider view and will care less about the perspective distortion, this lens is for you

Pros: good lens. worked for me on Wired Surveillance Camera w/ 48-IR LED Night Vision - White (PAL) ccd and CMOS Color Surveillance Security Camera with 6-IR LED Night-Vision and Stand Holder (PAL). I had to modify the height of the sensor on Wired Surveillance Camera w/ 48-IR LED Night Vision - White (PAL) ccd so the black ring won't interfere with the wide angle.

Cons: none so far.

Other: ok product. will buy again if needed.

Pros: very good product. I use in my foscam clone cameras, and realy "opens" my view. I order wto in first to try it, but after oder more for all my cameras.

Cons: maybe more wide in front side, because is difficult to handle if need to put all inside the camera. Also more length is required too.

Other: I order more to replace all my camera lens.So now I need less cameras for the same space. Really usefull product.

Pros: Good quality build, come with a cover.

Cons: No cons.

Other: Great product for M12 x 0.5 mounts if you wish to have a normal image. For applications that require vision of IR light, find another lens.

Pros: Well built, ok quality. For the price the image quality is good. I little a bit fish eye effect but for the lens of this size, it is to be expected.

Cons: As stated here, in most IP cameras which have a housing protecting the lens from the elements outside this lens will show the housing. You can use this is your cam has an exposed lense. There is actually no way to get this working for example any Apexis outside cams.

Other: Good product, have to know what you buy it for.

Pros: didnt cost too much, sturdy construction(appears to be made of metal), works very well.

Cons: no real cons to this item. i dont have any complaints or any gripes about it.

Other: this seems to be a good product even though it did not end up being used for its original intended purpose. i would recommend it because its cheaper than the ones i would see on ebay.
