Other: If you hve cctv camera's buy this lens with it, you won't be dissapointed
With the standard 3.6 you won't have the viewing range you need in most situations.
This solves your problem

Pros: Very cheap
Wide field of view
No IR filter (so night vision works)

Cons: Thread is a bit thin so it's not very stable while screwed in. Solved this by applying a bit of sticky grease (be carefull not to contaminate the CCD sensor).

Other: I've been using this in a outdoor fixed camera and it covers a verybig area so no need for PTZ.

Pros: Quite nice image quality. Well built. Seems to be pretty good in low light also.

Cons: In Apexis outside cams and likely in all the cams that have the protective cap on the lens ens of the cam you will have to shorten the black lens "holder" in order to be able to screw the protective cap on. This is because this lens has more diameter than the most of other alternatives to the lens does not fit into the housing...you have to shorthen the housing so it does not reach the lens.

Other: Good image quality, well worth the mod needed to fit this into my cam.

Pros: Works great in a Foscam FI8904W, gives it a nice wide angle view. It doesn't appear to cause a "fish eye" distortion either.

Cons: Should be threaded the whole way down the barrel, not sure why it isn't.

Other: You are better off getting this rather than the set of 6 lenses, this is cheaper, wider angle, and you won't have a bunch of lenses laying around that you'll never use.
