Replacement LCD Screen Panel Module with Backlight for PSP Slim/2000

Pros: This replacement screen is the answer you're looking for. My psp screen cracked, and I was iffy about this being a good replacement, but I pulled the trigger. The screen is no different than the original, vibrant, vivid color. Recommended if you psp lcd is cracked or damaged.

Cons: Kind of pricey, I hope that this replacement screen drops in a price. But if you're looking for screen elsewhere, they are quite costly.

Pros: This product was well padded and packaged. It was clear to me no damage was done while in transit. Product was FREE from static particles, dust, dirt, smudges, etc. I have never replaced a PSP screen before, but did so with the help of a youtube tutorial for replacing a PSP slim LCD screen. WEAR gloves, so as not to smudge the screen. Also, a quick dust with computer air spray, and a little bit of scotch tape can help in case you do get anything on it while working with it. Proceed carefully! The little ribbons are thin. It was not hard to take out the old screen but DO buy the right tools from Dealextreme,(the 00 screwdriver, and there was another small screwdriver someone here recommended.) Screen looks just as bright and clear as original PSP screen.

Cons: None that I can think of! Looks sweet. Far cheaper to buy this and install it than to replace your whole PSP.

Other: This looks to be the only one right now that Dealextreme sells for those with PSP slims. But it does work very well, and was well worth the price.

Pros: At about $30 less then other screens I found during researching and free shipping to boot! This was a good deal it arrived in eleven day from when I ordered it, no slow boat from china here!
Having not installed a screen in a PSP before, I practiced with the old one which was replaced due to a cracked screen (my fault). There are several warnings regarding fragile ribbons & I wanted to make sure I had the ribbon insertion right.
NO PROBLEM! I had the screen in and the PSP up and running in a matter of ten minutes, works great!

Other: This is a great replacement LCD if you have broken your PSP Slim screen. I would buy this again if my slim screen broke. This is the cheapest place to buy PSP Slim LCDs.

Cons: no side cushion though. have to peel off the one from the original lcd screen and place it over to the new one before installation and it's hard to place it nicely without getting any smudges on the screen

Pros: Well this is a nicely priced LCD screen, and it was packaged quite securely.

Cons: DX did mention a frank lack of good quality control when regarding this product, and it seems they were right. I seem to be missing more than a few pixels, it's something of a sliver missing in the screen, and I suspect if the QC were better I would have a perfect screen.

Other: Its one of the better priced LCD screens out there, and so long as you get a good example you'll be fine.

Cons: One out of the two has dead pixels. (see below)
Packaging is very very poor.
There's no black border around the screen, so you will have to try cut it out of your old screen, otherwise you'll proberly will kill your screen again. And cutting that black thing isn't as easy as it looks!

Other: Handy screens if you're looking for a cheap replacement screen, but lots of them have some deadpixels. Other than that, a great looking screen!

Pros: + Build quality is very good fells like original PSP screen.
+ Cheapest screen i could find.
+ Brings life back to your PSP.
+ Very easy to change you just need the screwdriver.
+ Works really great.

Cons: - Has 2-3 dead pixels.
- No side cushion.
- You have to put all the old stuff from your old PSP screen (side cushion(and peeling that thing off isn't easy) and all other stuff).
- It might be hard to change if you're new to fixing PSP's.

Other: BUY IT if you're PSP has a broken screen.

Pros: This isn't a knock off or anything. For the price it's well worth it.

Cons: I've read reviews on dead pixals and what not and that is always a risk buying these but I've also read that buying a psp you run the risk of having one or two from the get go. I don't see any dead pixals in the screen I got though.
Also I wish they'd come with the rubber strip already attached so we wouldn't have to pull it from the old psp

Other: If your psp's screen is broke and want a cheap alternative then sending it to sony pick this up. There are tons of tutorials on youtube on how to do it too so you won't be going at it alone!
My brother is going to be really happy he has a working psp again!

Pros: Screen arrived in a plain brown cardboard box adequately protected by foam, Part was exactly as described upon installation there were no dead pixels screen was perfect. Price was right, very happy customer.

Cons: only thing I could think of. It would be nice if a new foam border was provided with the screen. But it is easy to reuse the old border from the screen you are replacing.
