Pros: - Compact size. - 2A, enough to power External USB 3.5¨ hard drives. - do not get too hot, barely warm to the touch after several hours of use on an esternal USB hard drive.

Cons: Needed 2, ordered 3 just in case one failed and to get bulk discount and one of them actually fails (Hard drive restarts constantly, did not opened it to see what is wrong, but for less than $7 don´t know if it is worth the trouble). does not come with and AC cable.

Other: Slim and compact, seems like good built, if you need a 12V power supply for small gadgets, this is a good option.

Pros: Price is good. Build quality seems to be good. Does what it is supposed to.

Cons: Power cord is not included, but if you're like me, you will probably have a few of those floating around in drawers or closets around the house. The DC cord could be a bit stronger, but it's more than acceptable for a power supply at this price.

Other: This is a decent low-cost power supply. Buy it if you need it.

Pros: The pros are that so far it has been working properly. I'm not using it for a laptop though, but for an iPod docking station to which it is connected day and night for the last few months, and it works 100% so far, so awesome.

Cons: You only get the power supply end, so not the cable you need to connect it to the power source. It's the normal kind of cable you use for DVD players and things as well, mostly. Luckily I had a broken DVD player around, otherwise I would have had to buy another one of those as well.

Other: When you order this, you will want to add a power cord, or just check around to see if you have an old DVD player or something that has the chord you need. It's the cable with the double sockets at the device's end. Pretty standard for power supplies.

Pros: Works for several devices like external hard disks, etc.

Cons: Since I needed two of them for a couple of external USB hard drives, I ordered three just in case one didn´t work. two of them worked fine at first, the other one acted as if the amperage was not enough for the device and after some time of use another one started doing the same.

Other: Buy with caution, keep in mind that the quality is not the best but you get what you are paying for

Pros: -works fine, is a replacement power supply for a tv set top box -dc cable is a good length, although there is no mains cable supplied, i think i would gladly swap a shorter dc cable for a mains cable, even a short one! -has green led power on indicator, not all p/s have this simple but handy feature -really cheap, a local shop would charge more than 2X the price!

Cons: only one minor one, but keep in mind that this can apply to any switchmode device, as soon as i plugged in p/s there was a noise coming from device, not so much a humming but a low level 'shhhhh', i can only notice it because the room is so quiet

Other: good p/s for the price

Pros: - cheap - small!!!!! - lightweight - standard plug that fits the led controllers

Cons: - none that I can think off - gets pretty warm when driven at max potential

Other: Nice and cheap 2A 12V power supply that is useful for everything that needs just a little bit of juice in a cramped space! Get one for all those small projects
