Replacement Samsung TS-H943 DVD-ROM Drive for Xbox 360

Pros: - Genuine 360 drive!
- Much cheaper than other stores!
- Great replacement for a defective or lite-on drive :)
- Packaging was good

Cons: - it could be damaged when sent! (mine was fine though)
-Difficult to install

If you need a drive for a 360 and you can install it on your own then this is the cheapest way to replace it.

* Great if the lens of your drive is busted and don't know how to replace it. I find replacing the dvddrive is much easier!

-My old Xbox returned to life (Now even accepts cheap Memorex media)
-Works like a charm.
-You can use it on PC too (800 firmware)
-Ideal if you need a second drive to read originals on PC.

Cons: -You need to know how to open your Xbox to install this.
-You will void your warranty.
-Need your original drive key to work.

Other: Would be cool to have BenQ or LiteOn for sale.

Pros: GREAT price. when you compare this to other websites or any shops this price is considerably less.
personally it was quick for me to replace my old drive (about 15 minutes).

Cons: not much to complain about except when i received the item the 2 legs on the back part were broken... but its not a big issue because it screws in and sits and holds still. I have my 360 vertically set up and there are no issues with scratched discs.

Other: the price is better than any others so if you have trouble opening your drive or feel that the laser is dieing or dead get one.

Not hard to replace drives if you know enough about the console. I ordered 5 of them used 2 without any issue so far. They read all games, even back up copy games that were made at 8x speed without an issue.

Pros: Funcionan al 100%, he comprado varias, ningun prblema de funcionamiento, lo he colocado y sin problemas lee los originales y copias, y hasta ahorita no he tenido noticias de que hayan fallado, y ya lleva funcionando mas de 3 meses una unidad en un lugar donde rentan el xbox, todo muy bien.

Cons: No apto para novatos, no es nadamas de cambiar la unidad hay que saber como meterle la key del lector que se quito para que lea, y eso requiere conocimiento de flasheo de las lectoras, si no sabes puedes acudir a una persona que porga chips a los 360 a que lo haga.
Realmente ningun problema he tenido, he podido cambiar la key sin problemas.

Other: Una unidad muy recomendable, se nota que es nueva o que no ha sido utilizada, tiene aun su aroma a plastico y electronica nuevo cuando lo desempacas.

Pros: This is an perfect DVD-ROM replacement for the Xbox 360. On YouTube are many video's how to replace this part.
The packaging is really good! Multiple layers of protective foam!

Pros: Perfect if your drive is dead or want to flash your xbox and have the original left. Works perfectly with 1.7lt. My device says its from 2006 but it is brand new. Used cheap dvds and no problem at all to read them. The quality is good. Original samsung drive.

Cons: None does the Job without problems.

Other: Good price and works without any kind of problems.
