    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: I bought these for a friend who is a violinist. They are the cheapest violin strings I could find, and it's a complete set. The strings are nicely sealed in individual plastic bags. The strings are also color coded.

    Cons: I'm not actually using these, so I can't really tell how good they are. They came in a very cheap package, which was very flexible. At first I thought the strings would be all bent and stuff because the thing was bent on a corner, but all four of the strings were intact.

    Other: Very cheap IMO for violin strings. Order in bulk.
