Replacement Touch Screen Digitizer Glass for iPod Touch 2

Pros: It works! It's cheaper than the apple ones. You can learn how to change. But the best is once you finish and look you Ipod broken for more than one year with a new glass... Wonderful!!!

Cons: Installation is not easy. You need to be very careful not to break the new glass... Thankfully I bought 2, just in case, and I broke the first one, just one of the connectors but this was enough...

Other: It's not just take the glass of and put the new one... took me one hour to go through and make it work.

Pros: This product is great, there are some problems but it's not the product's fail, see other thoughts.
The build quality is great ! My girl friend saw the warp bubbles it comes wrapped with, and picked them up without knowing that the screen was in there, dropping it from 1.5Mts. Not a single scratch !! nothing happened.
Also, it comes really well wrapped, see the pictures !

Cons: The installation is a bit difficult. You may break it while you're installing it, so be careful. nothing else.

Other: It's a lot cheaper than apple's one, get it and dont forget to buy a frame too.

Pros: my ipod touch has cracked. i looked for replacement digitizer \ screen. this is the cheapest product i found. but don't worry, all the thing a options are working as well. every place on the screen work, and multytouch also.
it took me about an hour to replace it, but it worth it! i have like new ipod! you need tools, but i cost about 2$, you can fint in this website.
before you replacing - watch videos on youtube. just to be sure what you doing.

Cons: Actually I don't think this products as any defects. It is just as good as original. It could also bring a replacement frame (plastic piece where the glass touch screen digitizer sits on), as the original one can break while you remove the damaged glass (because the two are glued).
Mine broke but I was still able to mount correctly, no problem at all!

Other: If you got your ipod's screen broken, search no more!
Very high quality (just like original one) and cheapest on the market!

Other: My iPod 2nd gen fall from my pocket to the street, the digitizer glass broke, although it continued working, I took it to repair, but most shops wanted to replace the screen too, increasing the price to more than $100 in the process. This replacement provided just what I needed to make the iPod look good again.

Pros: The screen worked well, as expected.

Cons: In order to get the small plastic button to fit, I needed to file it a small amount around the sides.

Other: Wonderful, saved an expensive iPod.

Pros: Perfect fit, once applied you will not see the difference between the original and this one. Is just as responsive. Has the same look and feel as the original apple one. Regarding the scratching mentioned here, I haven't noticed this. To me it is just as resilient as the original apple digitizer.

Cons: Be CAREFUL when installing. This product seems to be slightly thinner than the original one. As long as you handle it with the needed care you'll be fine. But I can imagine it might break a bit more easily.

Other: Great product, GREAT price. Although a little research might be needed prior to application and needs to be handled with care and common sense during installation. (as with all repair operations ;))
