Pros: - Fits any flash hot-shoe - Very nice way to level your camera on a tripod - Very small, doesn't add to the cameras size - Due to the rubber material, it fits very solid (no risk of loosing it)
Cons: - A bit pricy - Not usable if you mount a flash or flash trigger (but that's kind of obvious, I guess) - The rubber material makes it quite tough sometimes to put it on the hot-shoe
Other: The only downside is the price. One or two dollars less and I would recommend it without any second thoughts.

Pros: Compatible with all camera with standard hot shoe connector . will not fit Sony/Minolta ( as described ) since a hot shoe different on such cameras fits where good to the camera no chance for loosing it made from hard rubber seems to work as bi directional bubble level also good protect a hot shoe connector on camera do not add an extra bulk as other buble levels ( i own another bubble level which is bulky )
Cons: price is little high - should 1-2$ less . price rating on 4 instead of 5 only because of this
Other: if you lost your hot shoe protector or do not like a regular bulky bubble level - buy this one - and you fixed up

Pros: Very nice spirit level for you're camera and protector for you're hotshoe in the same time.
It is a good replacement for you're hotshoe protector if you lost it of if you're cam didn't had one at all, or just because you like a spirit level on you're camera.
Cons: None
Other: Very nice addition to you're camera for a fraction of the price in the local shop.
It's well build and the spirit level is richt on the spot.

Pros: Small, made of good, solid quality plastic.
Slides in easily and fits perferct (I have Canon 50D, and it slides in and out of the hotshoe like butter).
Has a nice design.
Cons: None that I saw so far.
Though small is good, it is small enough to get lost when not in use (when flash is in hot shoe).
Other: Nice little accessory.
Compliments my tripod which doens't have a built in level. Will be put to good use for sure.

Pros: This piece of equipment is basically a must for photographers to protect their investment of a camera. I bought this level to protect my hot shoe mount on my canon DSLR camera and has done a great job in protecting it. I mainly bought it as a hot shoe protector other than the use of it being a level because its construction is rubber and covers the whole hot shoe protecting it better than a regular hot shoe cover. This small piece has saved my camera a couple times from love taps to hard surfaces and saved some finishes (cars) from being scratched from my camera.
Cons: The only con i have about this item is that it is a bit costly for a small amount of rubber and plastic but is invaluable towards protecting my camera.
Other: Get this item, might save your camera one day, and you might need a level.

Pros: This is nice and cheap upgrade for camera using fkash shoe. It will assist in aligning your camera and the same time protect the hot shoe against dust, dirt and corrosion or scratches. Its quite flat so it will not make problems with tight fitting camera cases.
Cons: A bit hard to detach again, but it will slide in after a couple of uses...
Other: Just add it to your next order. Is cheap and very useful!

Pros: When searching for some protection for the hotshoe, this was the best option. With the plastic plate the flash won't work anymore. With this product the flash keeps working on my Canon 500D. Great! Also it keeps dust and a bit of rain out, which is better for the hotshoe. The leveler is a nice option and works good. It gives a good visual indication if the camera is level.
Cons: There are no cons for me. It does what it is designed for.
Other: Good product which keeps dust and light rain out of the hotshoe. Also the leveler gives a good visual indication if the camera is level.

Pros: Small, Pop-Up flash on Nikon D3000 works without any problem, Unlike some of the other level indicators on sale. A very very good replacement for the default cover.
Cons: Fits a little tightly, so if you swap external flashes regularly, could a bit little painful, but probably sandpaper would help in that case.
Other: But it, without thinking. If you don't use an external flash all the time, this is a must buy.

Pros: small enough and yet so useful both as protection and when shooting from tripod (especially indoors, you do not get those leaning walls).
Cons: none, perhaps it fits a bit tight, so it doesn't come off that easy (but pros is that you won't lose it that easy either)
Other: Just include it in your next order if you do not use oncamera flash ALL the time. If you do not use flash on camera at all, then this is a must for protection. Original cover is easy to lose, this fits pretty tight. And there is the leveler, as a bonus :)

Pros: - It's cheap.
- Accurate when it's aligned properly...
Cons: - ... except that one of the three I bought wasn't quite so accurately aligned.
- I suppose I should've read it more carefully, but "resin" can be fairly ambiguous. Well, let me be very clear to all potential buyers: the material used is essentially *RUBBER*. Complete with that yucky smell that'll be on your fingers after you have handled it enough.
- The above-mentioned not-so-accurate piece still had rubber shavings dangling from various ends. I had to pluck them away.
- Because it's rubber, it's a snug fit, which is good in its own way, but it can be very hard to remove on some cameras.
Other: It works as well as expected (provided you get a good sample), but the material used left me a little dissatisfied. I really was expecting hard plastic, like those covers you get elsewhere.
Still, if you don't use hotshoe flashes much (one camera of mine is more or less going to do without) you can place one permanently on and forget about it. No more worries with having to remember the usual 2-3 bubble leveller!
