Retractable 1-LED White Light Zoom Headlight - Black

Pros: It's really a good headlamp, amazing deal for the money you pay for it. The build is good, not as the most expensive ones, however it's totally acceptable (doesn't have a cheap look). The box says waterproof, I still haven't test it in snow conditions but I hope it won't betray me. The focus feature is a good idea, working fine. It even has a red LED on the back side. It has 3 modes of operation: the bright one, the economic, as well as blinking.

Cons: The box that it comes inside is a little bit as a joke. That's the only con.

Other: The original box says: - 170m beam range - 75h burning life - 160 lumen DX says: - 200m - 2h discharging time - 140 lumen Other specifications on the box says: LED: 1 CREE Chip Energy tank: 4.5Wh I measured the light coming from the LED on my HTC Diamond's light sensor at a distance about 3 meters, in comparison with SKU 103738 (900 lumens). The UltraFire flashlight seems to be 10 times brighter, however when you focus the zoom of the headlamp, it's brighter than the flashlight. In every case, the headlight is a really great product for the price DX offers it, so just buy it.

Pros: Performs as described at an attractive price. Well balanced on head with battery pack at the back. The 3 cells fit well, battery compartment is the right size. Carton box says 75 hour duration - true figure for non-rechargables.

Cons: The lamp-head pivot is rather delicate and the steps too big, would be better to have no ratchet and tighter, stronger pivot pin, even a small bolt. This is the only weak point.

Other: Very good value for the money, recommend to buy.

Pros: This is the best headlight for price and performance on DX and possibly anywhere. I have had other headlights that aren't as bright or ballanced. Batteries on the back even out the weight make it much more ballanced. 3 AA's also allows it to run much longer and evenly.

Cons: The only cons are minor ones. Cables on one side make it a little bulky and could possibly get snagged. As always, external cables can stop making contact.

Other: If you are looking for AA LED headlamp, I think this is the best one on the market for the price. It is super bright, focus adjustable and ballanced with pack on the back of your head. GET IT, you wont be disappointed.

Pros: Zoomable. AA batteries!!! Great!. Rubber cover for battery box. Good build Strong light. Pretty good stamina even with rechargeable battery (you'll get light power decrease wit them sooner than with alkaline ones, but you still have light)

Cons: The light beam on wide angle could be wider. Much wider... The battery box have usual problem with good contact. You msut arrange the batteries well. The button is small and probably not waterproof. blinking mode sucks. I rather have red LED than blinking. There is red light on back (battery pack box), not very strong, but quite bright. If you're using it for bycicle, you can be happy for that, but othervise its slightly annoying.

Other: It's good pict. Still have few flaws, but same as majority of headlights here on DX in this price (and even more expensive ones). All way around, the price is great, if this is exactly what you want. I approve this one.

Pros: Very lightweight, large headband (fits a 62 cm circumferenced head easily), bright LED headlight. Feels rather ridged. Beams being projected are great, from wide angle to narrow beam and it's white. The batteries are seperated from the light itself, so the headlight feels balanced. Good price!

Cons: Only works with AA 1.5v batteries, not with rechargable batteries. When I tried to point the LED slightly downwards,a piece of the turningpoint broke. I still can use and point the light though.

Other: Nice headlight for a good price. Sadly it doesn't work with AA 1.2v rechargable batteries, but it's bright and can be used very easily.

Pros: AA (or Mignon) batteries can be purchased easily and at low costs --> Product can easily be used for everyday-life. Light is very bright and the switchable mode of the lamp (strong, reduced intensity, blinking) is very useful. By choosing the reduced intensity, batteries last quite long. Blinking is very nice if you are going by bike and want to avoid car crashes --> everyone will notive this blinking! Adjustable ribbons. The possibility to change the angle of the light is very nice if you want to work on a table with bright light and both hands. You can easily change the focus of the light by pulling on the front part.

Cons: Took some minutes to put the batteries correctly in. After getting the contacts on the batteries, it worked very well.

Other: Buy it. Do it... do it...

Pros: - Not the brightest option (longer operation). - Eats larger batteries (AA, longer operation). - Battery holder in the back (better balance, squeeze your head to even more tight spots). - Adjustable beam. - Funky red rear light.

Cons: - Beam adjustment could have a wider range. Works but feels kinda cheap when adjusting. - Not the brightest option (still very tolerable) - Upmost head band is just a bit too short. - The annoying strobe function. WHO needs it?

Other: Good for making small repairs, heating up the sauna, outdoor activities etc. Battery life is nice (AA cells) but downside is that this is no power light. It works well in most situations, but if you need a very bright light choose another one. The LED unit build seems to be not so good quality but is tolerable.
