Retractable RJ45 Network Cable (1.5M-Length)

Pros: * Simple to use (one end to your computer the other one to the socket/hub/router/etc)
* Cheap: cheaper than sku.23871, which I also own, without compromising quality.
* Retractable: won't clutter your bag while travelling

Cons: None that I can think of. Some people complains in general about the click noise of the this retractable cords but it's not a nuisance for me.

Other: If you travel a lot it's a must have, will give you ethernet connectivity without the clutter of a normal cable.
Buy a some as presents for your friends/colleagues

Pros: It is one of the items that deal extreme could be proud of. It comes with a very reassonable price and the built quality is good. You will not face any problems with the quality and it can be of use in several cases. You can buy more items for your friends as a gift and you won't dissapoint yourself. It is one of the items that Deal Extreme can be proud for selling! I am always impressed by the variety of items that deal extreme is selling, and that one have passed the quality controls for sure!

Cons: A little efort to close but that is o.k.

Other: Buy more for your friends

Pros: So it's cheap - and it works using a hub which I know is what it is intended for and I know it's not a cross-over cable so I can't expect too much more than that.

Cons: Even if it's NOT a crossover cable - these days even straight through cables are detected on windows machines and automatically crossed over at the network card to make Node to Node connectivity possible. For some reason this one does not do it.

Other: Still really happy with it - but I'm just hurting that I bought 20 of them and they didn't do Node 2 Node...

Pros: Absolutely useful and handy ethernet cable, suitable for those people likely to travel or commute a lot.

Cons: Quality is the weak point of the item. I've used many network cables and I know what a strong cable is. This one is not, but I believe that if you take care enough, it won't break easily. Except for the "shell", that is strong enough to support hits and weight over it.

Other: Just take care of it and you won't have any problems. Anyways, if you break it, just buy a new one. It's too cheap.

Pros: Good, convenient product, which is easy to carry around without taking up lots of space.

Cons: Does not give Gigabit connectivity - only 100MBit max :-( Furthermore the clip on one of the plugs to keep it securely inside an Ethernet port is very flimsy and I'm convinced it's going to break off completely at any moment!

Other: If I had known it does not give full Gigabit network speed I would not have bought it, seeing as all my PCs and laptop have Gigabit ports. Still very useful to carry around for in case you're somewhere without a flylead.

Pros: cheap price is always a pro and free shipping is always awesome the quality exceeds its price value ratio. i have bought a few already and only a couple has problem retracting....maybe a use them too much with my cable tester...the rest of them are still sweet i paid using my dx points....this reward system is great

Cons: for its price , none whatsoever it took over a month to get to australia......free postage free stuff.. cant complain

Other: if you dont want to carry a standard network cable in your laptop bag, this is the item to buy. if you want a better quality product and can afford a few dollars, still buy this item because theres nothing much out there that does a better job

Pros: looks hightech and sleek in your laptop bag as compared to a standard 1.5 meter network cable. even not as quick as other network cable, it does the job.

Cons: if the retraction worked better after prolong or constant use, i would have given a five star on build quality but it did not. after using two of these for over fifty times with my cable tester, both had difficult retracting at first go. now , i have to extend fully a few times. this is so cheap so i just replaced them

Other: you have a choice carry a 1.5 cable [ in my case 2 pieces ] or these, retractables definitely a clear choice. at this price, i cant expect it to do crossover as well

Pros: It's a good and convenient product for anyone who's always on the go. I often need to use a network cable at my uni and was tired of having to carry a big one all the time, this one takes almost no space, weights almost nothing and does what it's supposed to.

Cons: The build quality isn't the best, I have two of them, the first I bought isn't very nice to retract anymore, and I've used it something like 50 times only.

Other: I'll be buying another one in the future, the build quality isn't the best, but for less than $2 it's the best.

Pros: Very small, yet fairly long You can carry it everywhere and inside everything

Cons: Flat cable may break as it's not fixed to the connector ends (The piece that does that is not long to get a flat cable) The retractible piece is going to fail eventually The ends are a bit bended if the bag you carry it is not hard (or not bag at all) so be careful

Other: I bought this to keep it in my bag and use at university (Wifi doesn't work sometimes and didn't want to bring a big cable which would take up space), and it does its job well
