Retractable USB to Micro 5P Data/Charging Cable (60CM-Length)

Pros: It works in the Nokia 3120 Classic (data only, does not work with power as expected).
It works the same as the CA-101, except it is better since it is retractable.
It allows the Nokia 3120 Classic to be firmware upgraded.
It allows proper access to all the data functions (e.g. address book sync, calendar, etc). Using Bluetooth, address book sync doesn't work so the cable is vital to back everything up.
It includes special locking nubs unique to micro-USB to stop the cable falling out accidently. This is one of the advantages of micro-USB over mini-USB
Cable is thicker than other retractable cables, so it is very good build quality.
Being retractable it is neat and tidy and very small.

Cons: It is a bit hard to put in and pull out of the Nokia 3120 classic. However this is probably the way micro-USB is meant to work - it won't fall out accidently.

Other: You should get it if you have a Nokia 3120 classic or other phone that needs a micro-USB cable, such as almost all the new phones designed in China. You'll need it eventually anyway so get it while its hot.

Pros: The normal usb end connect works great. It works when connected. The retractable cord works fine. If you only need to use the cable a couple of times, it would be a good purchase.

Cons: Very bad build quality on the micro usb end. Everything else about the cable is great. The micro usb end broke within the first week of use. The micro usb end is also too big. The size limits the number of phones it can be connected.

Other: With bad construction on the micro usb end of the cable, I can not recommend buying this cable. There are many other cables that have a similar price, but are built much better.

Pros: This item has a small size, which is nice. The retractable feature also avoid snarling of the cable. Not sure if it would last long if constantly kept in a bag, though. It is indeed the new standard micro-USB plug at one end, poised to replace the mini-USB. (And it is the ubiquitous USB-A at the other end).

Cons: When unfolding the retractable cable, it sometime retracts when you would like it not to. But biggest cons, data transfer worked a few times, but doesn't work anymore. Still useful to charge the phone, but this is less than expected.

Other: Don't expect too much from it.

Pros: - It's very small and portable
- ready to use
- Has micro USB tahat, maybe, will be new standard for universal connect.
- until now data transfer works everywhere.

Cons: - The cable it's only 20cm long.
- Don't sure about the quality of the cable. It seem rather flexible then usual cables.
- When unfolding the retractable cable sometime it doesn't retract.

Other: nice object for its small dimension.
For this small price I can advice the purchase.

Pros: USB cable does what it should. Have not tried for data transfer- just in car for charging mobile phone. Works OK, as it should.

Cons: Retracting might be tricky.. But I do not find it a big problem in this case.

Pros: - Retractable, so that it takes no place, and doesn't spagghetize itself when stored in a small pocket.
- Very low price

Cons: Quality build is really poor. On the ten I ordered, one was faulty. I openend it to check whether i could repair it. I could not, but i saw how the soldering work is poor. The wires are quite thin.

Other: This cable is so cheap that, even if some may be faulty, it remains a good deal. Order more than one, because you colleagues will want one when they see yours.

Pros: Never have to untangle cables again. If you have to carry a cable with you this is the way to go. No questions asked.
I don't know how resistant is the rolling mechanism is in time, but until now I didn't have any problems.

Cons: It's a bit expensive considering it a 60 cm cable. There's a lot of cheaper stuff on DealExtreme that require, in my opinion, the same engineering.

Other: As I said this is a must have if you need to take a cable with you. I for one hate tangled cables.

Pros: This is a nice retractable cable one can use to charge a phone with the new mini-usb-plug standard.
I got an HTC desire S and bought this cable to use it at work and when travelling.
Pro's:

- compact
- relatively cheap.
- works!

Cons: Not the best build quality, be carefull when you pull it out of the socket, you may damage it.

Other: Buy 2, as you may damage the first. :)
Or 3, so you can give one away. But buy 4 then, so you can give someone 2: one to break and one to be carefull with.

Pros: I use it for Samsung Wave 2 S8530. For data and charge
it's working well. I use it with 220V to USB adaptor. Working well. I use it with 12/V to USB car adaptor (working well). I tried it on laptop for data and working well. I tried it on laptop for charge working well.

Cons: It's working well. I advise this to whom think to buy for samsung wave 2 or like this. You can use it charge or data cable same time.

I use it to recharge my cell phone in the car and have encountered no problems doing so.

Cons: Feels a little like a poor build, but it has not yet broken. I really don't think it will brake in the near future either.
