Pros: -the colour mixing on the smd's is perfect.
-very bendy strip, can go around corners

colours mix even when looking directly into source! thats soo helpfull. no need for diffusers

Cons: one of the smd had 2 contacts unsoldered, will fix later. that means that the last 3 smd wont show blue unless the smd is pressed onto strip surface.

Other: -great for colour mixing on close up and visible surfaces.
- super cheap price for what you get. well worth the price!

Pros: Can be used everywhere for everything. The lightoutput is surprisinly bright. No heat-dissipation troubles when correct driver is used They can be connected together. electical parallel, these strips are made for this possibility.

Cons: The paquage is not on a reel, some of these rgb strips have become defective , caused by this way of shipping. Some SMD solder and a steady hand can fix this .

Other: The about 12VDC makes these strips suitable for almost every application.

Pros: - Nice and bright, brighter than an IKEA dioder set for example - Colours blend well - Comes with adhesive backing for easy installation - Can be cut into smaller segments easily

Cons: - Build quality seems to be good but mine arrived in nothing more than a ziplock bag, and as a result was bent in some areas. Could straighten it out without much trouble but this could easily lead to disconnected components that may need re-soldering. Don't be misled into thinking it comes on the reel as pictured! - Have not seen connector before but easy enough to cut it off and put another on.

Other: Can't really go wrong at this price, but you might need to give the strip a little love to get it 100% working when you receive it!

Pros: I was worried these might not be the best quality but they are as good as $40 strips I've seen. All the LEDs are equal brightness and all the soldering on mine was well done. The double sided tape is a nice feature too.

Cons: No con so far, packaging only consists of a plastic bag if that matters to anyone.

Other: Definitely buy these, if you don't need it to be weather proof these are the ones to get. Remember that they are common anode.

Pros: * Cheap!
* Nice layout (kind of standard, though), which can be separated into tiles 3 LEDs each with individual solder pads.
* Decent light output.

Cons: * The colors aren't properly balanced, red is much to weak. I get a White color around rgb(255,190,160), which obviously reduces luminosity a lot. Keep this in mind if you need to create somewhat accurate colors.
* Not all solder pads are labeled, and some of them don't contain solder, while others do (lead-free, it seems. Keep this in mind if you only do lead-based soldering at lower temperatures.)

Other: Nice product, especially considering the price. Pretty decent for a mood light; due to bad color balance, it might not be the best solution for a LED display though (or similar).
Anyway, I'm definitely going to buy more of those ;)

Pros: Unbelievable price. Very bright, very flexible, double stick tape on back.

Cons: uneven color; some are more red-biased, others more blue. Not a big deal for most hobby applications, but if you need an exact color match consistent across the whole strip, look elsewhere. I had two resistors pop off, but easily soldered them back on.

Other: If you're looking for fun, lightweight, thin led arrays for a hobbying project, bike lights, home decor, etc, these are a great choice.

Pros: Good price, nice and bright LEDs with good colour purity. Comes with connector and built-in current limiting resistors so you can hook straight to 12V.
Can be cut in to 3LED segments for smaller applications.

Cons: Packaging could be better- Comes in a plastic baggie, and while it arrived in good shape, I can see a potential for transit damage if you have odd-shaped items in your order or if the mailman is having a bad day. Feels sturdy though, so not as fragile as you might think.

Other: Buy it if you need RGB LEDs for cheap/experimenting.

Pros: Well, I bought it for lightening my kybord, which is in a shuttle under table. It works perfect. Colors are deep and overall brihtness is more than acceptable. Colors are mixing perfectly, just some are not perfect. Like purple, or yellow. You can see that purple is a bit too much blue, but with right controller it coul be balanced.

Cons: Price is not what I would except from a bunch of leds, but quality is perfect.

Other: Be sure to have some controller for it.

Cons: You need a controller for it, if you want the led strip chance colors. But you can also just connect some wires to a 12V- source, but the the strip only shows 1 color (of course)

Other: Its a very nice RGB led strip for a realy good price! i connected it to a audio RGB controller and i use it in my car to chance on the sound of the music and i works very nice! i ordered 2 more inmidietly!
