Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Really compact form factor, plugs right into any HDMI enabled TV or monitor. Android 4.1.1, and with the easy installable firmware update from the rikomagic site, you get root access as well. Plays 1080p video without a hitch, and the default player also supports subtitles. Access to Google Play works and enables you to install any Android app. Works great with Netflix, but Netflix has no way to adjust the tiny subtitle size.
Cons: Does not come with a power supply, you must buy a USB power supply that outputs at least 1A. The microSD card must be pushed into the slot with a sharp object, you cannot push it in with your fingers (unless you have long fingernails). Expensive device.
Other: Excellent device, if you want to upgrade your tv to a media center, this is the device to get.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Extremely simple to use. Connect the HDMI Connector to the TV (Cable included) and the power (mini-usb to USB cable included) and start using. I connect to the other USB and wireless keyboard and work Perfectly (non driver instalation). The wi-fi work fine. Come with android 4.1.1 and you can use google play store. You can full web navigate, social (facebook, twitter, MSN, etc), watch movies a lot of formats (mkv included), and listen music.
Cons: some apps don´t work fine when you push the limits.
Other: I recommend as second home device.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Supports only some Android apps (can install only 20% of apps from the Google Play). Some of already installed apps are buggy or won't start at all (Google Talk, for example). Supports HD videos in YouTube app and plays them smoothly. Wireless much faster than on MK802 II.
Cons: Portable & very light. No charging needed from mains - charges itself from TV/connected screen via USB all times. Supports only few webcams. Searching for compatible webcams on the internet before buying one is recommended.
Other: A great device from hardware point of view, update of the Android OS or installation of different OS (such us Ubuntu Linux) may be necessary.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - The wifi is the best of all stick Android market. I have connection between two rooms, wall grues involved. - Has Rikomagic support, and after installing the latest firmware, the Google Play has 100% of apps (contrary to what was said in a previous review). - Skype (logitech webcam), Netflix, IPcam function normally. - The latest firmware allows Rikomagic use an app to turn the smartphone into a remote control. And it works perfect, better than Measy Mele RC11 or F10 - you can even shut down the Android Stick. - I recommend using an AC powered USB hub and a separate adapter (+1 A).
Cons: I would have liked it had DLNA, but just as an extra feature :)
Other: Buy this or MK802IIIs and avoid all those bs Allwinner A10 single core Android sticks!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small very compact. Works as designed. Ease of use if your have used android experience. Otherwise there is a small learning curve.
Cons: Unable to shutdown. Only when rooted able to restart with download app from google play. Not all play apps work. For example endomondo, yamaha receiver control.
Other: Better of to buy IIIS version. Which is newer and has Bluetooth support.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - It gives you all the functions your phone has minuse the ability to call. - works with every wireless mouse I hooked to it. - quite fast overall, plays full HD videos without a blink. - The preinstalled media center does a fine job - You can control it with any android device used as a remote. There are at least 3 different apps on the market that do that.
Cons: - Heats up a lot - the default file browser wasn't very pretty, installed Solid file manager to replace it. - This model has just one USB expansion port, so you can't hook up an external drive AND a wireless controller at the same time.
Other: Awesome purchase.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: + Excellent quality. + Very good features for the price. + Hardware decoder of several stream formats. + Volume control (as oppersite to Apple TV) + USB Host + Full ROOT access. + 1080p support. + Kernel/Firmware image is available for download on Ricomagic web-page. + AirPlay and DLNR is supported. + Playback on DLNR devices is supported (if enabled in the app you use).
Cons: - The microSD/TransFlash slot requires the card to be inserted very deeply, so a tool is needed for both insertion and extraction. (But it's probably going to stay in there always anyway, so who cares?) - USB Webcam is not supported by the provided kernel, so can't be used as a web-phone. -
Other: In a few hours with this product I had twice more features that I wanted then after several days hacking away on my Apple TV. This product gives me everything I need for my every day media needs, and has a very high value to the money ratio. Highly recommended.

Pros: this device is purchased instead of a smart tv. the kids love it. Great in combination with fly-mouse rc11. added a usb stick of 32Gb, with movies of all kinds of formats and all of them are working
Cons: bluetooth usb would be nice to be supported. maybe in the next sw/firmware release
Other: consider this device instead of a smart tv, it has almost the same look and feel. Can be used as a media player, streaming. great for youtube movies, or missed episodes of your favorout tv shows
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This little thing is working great just out of the box, re-placing our multimedia PC for TV-streaming.
Cons: Nothing so far, as far as I can remember.
Other: Need one or some more.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap, but very usefull. I sugest buying a RC11 air mouse with it. Also, sugest flashing alternative Finless ROM. Much better than stock one. Netflix works very fine, but stock android app only allows 480p resolution. I downloaded an alternative one that allows HD video quality...
Cons: micro-USB power connector is very easy to break. We need handle it with care. I damaged one MK802III because of this. Now I have to buy another one... And it is what i'm doing right now... Another mk802iii on the way... rsrsrs
Other: no one...
