RJ11 Phone Cable 1-to-2 Female-Female Spliter Coupler

Pros: It works, but really though, it works, it is great, I mean, you plug it in and it works.

Cons: It's made out of plastic which will probably last my whole life unless i destroy it intentionnally. But I guess they could of made it like some heavy metal box that weighs 20 pounds. I can't believe I have to write 500 characters for a splitter.

Other: It just works and is perfect, and paying 1.30$ for it is much better than 7.99$ at a local store. I can't believe I have to write 500 characters for a splitter.

Pros: It works after I fixed the manufacturing failures

Cons: The connector leads on the right connector of this splitter wasn't aligned correctly. It has 6 shafts and 4 lines should be in shaft 2 to 5 but there was no line in shaft 2, shaft 3 had the line for 2, shaft 4 had the line 3 and shaft 5 had two lines in it that for 4 and 5. Because of this the splitter didn't work. I could fix this and realign the connector lines to the correct positions but it was quite a mess to do it.

Other: Hopefully this was just one bad manufactured piece.

Pros: The product does what it is supposed to do; namely, split a telephone line (RJ11) from one connection to two. This allows you to plug in another phone into the line and extend it to somewhere else in the room, etc. Might be useful in the home office, or even when trying to split a phone line for some other purposes (perhaps someone is still trying to use a dial-up modem?)

Cons: Could be a little cheaper; I found this at the dollar store and it was a few cents cheaper in the end. The only reason I bought it from Dealextreme was because it saved me the trip of going to the mall (gas, time). The plastic feels a little cheap, but I am pretty sure that the stuff from the dollar store would not be much better anyway.

Other: If, for whatever reason you are finding that you need to split a telephone RJ11 line from one to two, this could come in handy. It is relatively cheap as well, so it is not a particularly large investment, even if it turns out you do not need the splitter.
