RJ11/RJ45 Network and Telephone Cable Crimping Tool with Cable Stripper

Pros: Ordered one for testing, since i was enthusiastic I ordered 10 pieces for use in a big datacenter. As those 10 became the most popular crimpers in my company I had to order 10 more and they all work great.

Cons: Better crimping tools are available but you need to pay more then 10 times the price. Not really a con although, but I want to say it is not the best crimper in the world.

Pros: Really cheap! - In local stores, I could get crimping tool for the same price, but the one from local store is useless brick compared to this tool from dealextreme. Comparable one costs about 5 times more in my country. Just does the job!

Other: I had to use the useless tool from local store, that was terrible. Now I has a crimping tool I can rely on.

Pros: - Great cutting tool - Easy to strip cables quickly - Flawless crimping - Extremely good build quality - Has 3 steps of lock snapping to avoid half crimping a cable.

Cons: - The blue handles can be pulled off (not a big deal as they don't fall off) - The wire stripper will strip into the cables inside a bit if pressed down firmly. if you're careful and don't use a lot of force you can strip without penetration 80% of the time.

Other: This tool does (almost) everything you need to cut and crimp cable. The only thing missing is the ability to straighten cables out once stripped, but no crimper tool does that, and all you need is something like a screw driver. Good buy.

Cons: - Nothing, works perfectly.

Other: Very good buy, is a great tool that will last a long time. For that price is the best we can find.
I have not found any default, but only use 2 times. Its construction is robust, so it should last a long time.
Delivery time was good, 1 month to Argentina.
Nothing more to add, buy will not regret it.

Cons: It may only be a issue with my issue, but I have a very high fail rate on the crimping/ punch in. It seems to have a problem with punching in the 2 edge pins (1 and 8).
After comparing with another tool (different make and model) the punch in looks somewhat thinner.

Other: If you do get it, order more that one in case of manufacturing issues, it's still worth it because of the price, though I wish it was not necessarily.

Pros: very sturdy build, includes cable cutter which is very handy.

I have already crimped two rj45 cables for my home theater computer and they are functioning without a problem.

Cons: non that I could see... you get exactly what you paid for and for this price its a bargain.

Other: if you want to make your own network cables, definitely buy it and a 20 pack of connectors (and a cable of course) :),

Pros: It works exactly as it is supposed to do, even the wire stripper has exactly the right diameter and works great. The build quality is also very nice.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: This cable crimping tool is of very good quality. Crimping goes flawless. Cutter is razor sharp and cuts perfect. Crimping tool comes is equipped with a locking mechanism, which is very interesting for stowing it. Crimping tool is made out of meatl, so is feels good, not at all cheap.

Cons: None that I can think of for the moment.

Other: If you want to buy a good quality crimping tool for a cheap price, this is the you should me looking for. Good crimping results, not damaging the connectors. Cutting the cables is clean, sharp edged.

Pros: I'm an IT-guy and needed these for some home networking. I make cables myself and this thing has helped me put on the plugs. It feels sturdy in your hand and can get the job done! It fits the RJ-45 plugs perfectly and closes them like this device should.

Cons: I still haven't encountered problems with my crimping tool.
