RJ45 Splitter Connector Adapter (2-Pack)
This is a RJ45 1-to-2 female to female splitter coupler is used for joining the LAN cables or adding the branch cable. This coupler allows two computers to share high speed DSL, cable modem and Ethernet ports. The adapter converts a single RJ45 outlet to two RJ45 sockets easily. This coupler also can be used to combine the two short network cables together to be a long one.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: As I have only one ethernet connection in a room where I have normally at least 3 computers, this was perfect and just what I needed! With the pack of two splitters, all I needed was plenty of patch cables which I have. Was just a matter of connecting one splitter to the second - instantly have 3 ethernet ports :)

    Cons: Nothing really - they are cheap and cheerful and do the job which is what I wanted in the first place. Only little downside to them is that the edges are kinda rough. Also, if they were put under pressure, they might break as the plastic seems fairly light

    Other: As usual with DX, the delivery takes ages but that is something you get used to - but who cares when you get something you need :)
